I'm trying to update my fitbit ionic and it keeps turning off.  I have done a factory reset and deleated the app and reinstalled it but it still continues to turn off.  I see others have had this trouble.  How was it fixed?

@Cjl05 Welcome to the Fitbit Community.

Thanks for trying to resolve before getting in touch. Please make sure you have done the following on this order:

  1. Restart your Ionic
  2. Remove your watch from the Fitbit app
  3. "Forget" your Ionic from your phone's Bluetooth settings (along with any other Fitbit devices)
  4. Try to update again by following these steps.

@respanol Thanks for your support.

@loukie Thanks for letting us know that your Ionic was exchanged. Hope that everything goes fine from now on.

Keep on stepping.

I have the same problem now.

I hard reset by using 3 buttons. Reinstalled and reconnected to phone. After that, the watch keeps shutting off .

Any solution?

I have the same issues and did all that was required. Still, my watch will shut off, I have to press the 3 buttons for 10 secs to turn it on once more.. I am not sure what else to do..

Set back to factory settings. If that does not work, then call support to
see if you have options.
