We’re excited to announce that a firmware update for Luxe will be available soon! Some of you may already have this update available - if you installed it, let us know what you think!
If you don’t see the update yet, that’s expected. Check the Fitbit app in a few days, and you’ll see a message when you can install the update. We expect everyone to receive the update in the coming weeks. We appreciate your patience while we get this update to all of our customers.
Did you know that we gradually release our updates? We do this to make sure everything is working just right for you. Sometimes we find an issue and it might take a little longer than expected for everyone to get the update. While you might see suggestions on how to “force” an update, we ask that you don’t try any of these workarounds. Most of the time the update won’t be available and you can lose data or encounter other difficulties. The best way to get the update is to be patient and wait for the update banner to appear in the Fitbit app.

Hi I’ve just updated my Luxe this morning. Wondering what are the new features included in this update as I can’t seem to find any info on the website. I don’t see any difference in the Fitbit app on my iPhone too.

@waynezwor1d mine just updated with a firmware version now 58.20001.146.4
I noticed after the update the font was larger on the watch face.
Thanks @MaryKay-119 , I just had to look. Mine is charging, but it does look a tad larger. Glad you posted that!
@JK_AUS when I tried to update, it also said that it failed and to try again. I restarted the phone and tried again. I can't say for sure, but since I've asked a moderator to stop by, they will know the correct version and can tell us.

Hi. My version is the same as yours except it doesn’t have the 58 in front. Can’t really tell whe her the font is bigger or not.

Hi @Suzie1time1 on the dashboard of the app, I saw at the top a big prompt to update the Luxe. You probably won't miss it. Says the Luxe needs to be charged and it might take 20-30 minutes and to keep your phone close to your Fitbit.

I had a firmware update appear for my luxe this morning, tried to install but it repeatedly failed so restarted my phone... Now the update option has disappeared from the app. Also tried restarting the luxe & uninstalling / reinstalling the app, but no joy. Any ideas how I can find the update again please?
Hi @StephLG yesterday mine did the same thing. You shouldn't need to do anything to get the update to show up. What version of firmware are you showing? Mine is 58.20001.146.4
I have tried to update this all day. It just says it’s updating and then quits. I had the Alta before and this luxe seems like a downgrade. Text notifications come like 10 minutes after the have been received. Very unhappy so far
Hi @SunsetRunner your post was moved here, where others have had the same thing happen. As for the notifications, mine seem to be working as usual. You try a restart of the Luxe?
