I just lost my first 10 pounds since 11/11. (Which was a miracle because I had wine and cake every night over Thanksgiving and Christmas.) I called my friend Natalie to celebrate. Then she challenged me to lose another 10. Now I am challenging you! Who is up for the challenge?!

@chambej1 I might have missrepresented that a little. It's only 1100calories the first week then it goes to 1600 calories. I've been eating between 900 and 1400 depending on how strenuous my day was. Tomorrow I'm supposed to go up to 1600 but might try to stay a little under that. I have a lot of weight to lose.
I will definatly make sure I eat enough to keep losing, though.

Awesome! I am feeling good. Last week, I started swimming a mile 3 times a week. I am loving the change of pace. Although I am getting used to my step count being lower on those days...Just means I need to get more steps in..That way I will have double the impact.
I have been fighting the desire to get on the scale every morning. I have the Aria...I hate seeing those up tick days when I have more water etc. HAHAHAHA I have also found that the body fat/BMI is not accurate. ANybody else find that?

I really need someone to get on "my case" for screwing up each day - by dinner. I do really good in the morning and at lunch, spreading my calories out. I go to the gym daily and usually do some kind of aerobic exercise. But between 5-7, I eat.
I wanted to loose 10 pounds by Valentines Day. Any suggestions?

Hi runnergirl. I'm in the middle of week 2. I'm finding this week alot better than last week. I was so sore, now its more managable. I've been following the eating plan (mostly) and have so much more energy than before.
I have a coach but haven't gotten in touch with her,yet. I signed up for Beachbody about 4 yaers ago and never did anything with it so she's probably forgotten about me.
I was interested in Shakeology. I've been looking for a good protein powder and fellow fitbitters have recommended a bunch of interesting ones. I still looking for the one that'll work for me. Mainly, I just want the powder to make smoothies becase thats like a healthy dessert, except its a meal.

Good! The key really is finding something that speaks to you. I am so glad you are in your zone with Beachbody! The mental certainty that comes with knowing you can do it when you find a program that boosts your self confidence is a great driver of success. Let's do this!!!

I eat good all day until about 5:00 then I start snacking. Sometime I eat even when I'm not hungry just to crunch on something. I only have 10 pounds to loose, I think it is harder when you don't have alot to loose.
Plus, right now I am feeling down, some issues with my mom. Feeling sorry for myself. When I get upset, I eat!

LIN10 I hear you on the stress eating! Have you found healthy things you like to eat that you can use as a "go to" during those times. A few of mine are hummus, red peppers, snap peas, chocolate chip protein cookies. I have lost 11 pounds since 11/11...which is a miracle because although I was working out over the holidays...I was enjoying things as well..Like wine every night and cake every day. 🙂
So now I am on lock down. I just started changing up my workouts which has been effecting my steps. I wish fitbit could track swimming. But it is all good! Swimming a mile has been a great change up. I can already see changes in my body and it has only been 1.5 weeks. I am sticking to weighing myself once a week so I am looking forward to getting on my scale on Wednesday.
Very glad I just figured out how to post pictures...One of the things I love about FB to keep up motivation!

How is everyone doing on their 10 pound challenge? I have lost just over 3. I knwo it isn't fitbit centric but I have been loving my swimming. I can really see changes in my body over hte last 2 weeks.

I've been doing ok. The cold weather has slowed me down a little, but I've managed to lose about 4 lbs. I'm pretty happy with my progress so far. In an effort to be more active I have signed up for the Avon Walk For Breast Cancer. It's a 2 day 39 mile walk through DC. How is everyone coming on their 10 pounds? I lost 13 pounds and gained 9 pounds of muscle since November. So sorry I have been off the radar! I lost my fitbit. ;( I went ahead and ordered a Moov bc it has swimming. So I am afraid You will see my steps at zero for ever. I would love to continue to support you guys. I'm in for a challenge between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I had ACL and knee replacement 2 months ago. I go to rehab 2x a week. I need a good challenge. I've gained 45lbs atleast and i need friends and challenges to motivate me. my real name is liz. I am 35yrs old. What do you think?
