@emili I think I had already started losing in my last pic. Here's a little before and after. The first pic is quite old but I stayed that size for a long time and it's the only topless one I had.
It feels so good to be thin. I helped a guy move today who lost his job. I had never met him before, he had just approached our church for help. He apologized over and over for not being able to help much because he was "too fat" (his words). He was north of 350lbs for sure, maybe 400. I didn't let my weight stop me from doing much but when I hit 287 it was really starting to affect my life. I am glad my body does not limit me the way it used to.

It was an odd week, with lots of personal issues. I'll likely talk more about it in the other weigh in thread. I'm looking at buying either an eliptical or a nordictrack freestrider. Feature-wise I'm leaning toward the second, but I also see a lot of unhappy consumers on the direct-buy option. In the next few weeks I'll take the time to drive to a semi-local store that sells both. I'm just finding that with increased movement my one knee is starting to bother me so I want to look at something less weight bearing to help with my cardio.

Also, yesterday I reached my last goal (275) and set the next one (250). I keep looking for my old weigh-in logs, as I'm not sure I hit 250 the time I ended up with low iron (that led to medical investigation which ended up finding another issue that required surgery). Either way, at 250 I will likely be the lightest weight I've been as an adult. Based on how it's going so far, that should be somewhere between Jan and Feb of next year.

I just purchase my fitbit last week and would like to join in this weekly weigh in, if I may. I was at 194 lb last February and started the South Beach Diet and exercise plan and lost down to 164 and then stopped. Then I started gaining. My goal weight is 149 lbs. I weighed 169 lbs last week and weighed 167 this morning for a two pound loss. If I shouldn't be posting here, please let me know. Thanks.

Start 265 lbs 09/27/2015
Last Week 162.6 lbs 10/19/2016
This week 161.2 lbs 10/24/2016
Maintenance mode week 13
Target Range: 165 +/-5 lbs
Loss Range 100 lbs +/- 5 lbs
Got a body fat caliper from Amazon this week and I've been working the numbers. I've done single point, three point, four point and five point methods as well as tape measure to compare. With the calipers, I get between 6-8% which is unbelievable but I actually only get 10-11% by tape measure as well (depends which way I round). I am thinking my tape measure method is off due to loose skin after weight loss throwing my abdominal diameter out a touch, but either way, I am a very low body fat range. Like we have talked about in previous weeks, this is definely indication that I am done losing. It would be just about impossible to loose more without losing significant lean muscle mass.

ROLL CALL!
It seems our numbers are dwindling. Maybe you have lost interest or met your goals, maybe you think no one notices. I, for one, notice. I feel accountable to this group and that is one part of what keeps me on track as I strive to maintain my lost weight. I celebrate with everyone's victories, I like hearing the stories and seeing the numbers.
So, who's still in? Simply like this post if you want to commit to weighing in. It doesn't have to be Monday but try to be consistent with which day. This thread has taken on a life of its own and I love it. I will compile a list and post it based on who upvotes this post.
Happy losing everyone.

I was right in that the major loss over my Breckinridge weekend wouldn't stick around completely, but some of it did-I feel more solid in this number anyway. I know that three pounds in a month doesn't seem like much, but it is progress in the right direction, so I'll take it. I had stayed away from the scale for a while just to let myself get back to some sort of equilibrium after Breck. Back to the weekly weigh ins starting next week. We finally got the treadmills set up the way we want, so I've started doing that in the morning to open up some room to do weights at work a couple of nights a week and still get home at a decent time. Both should help to push down into the teens to stay.

Welcome @onestepadatime! I think you'll find a pretty supportive group here. I have to say that for a group of people that I've never met, they have helped to motivate me to keep going and get good results.

I'm here, still plugging away. Life is a little hectic so I'm browsing a little more and posting a little less at the moment. That should be changing in a few weeks though.

@Cubeyz - I always think lose or gain you should post. Sometimes I fear when people stop posting that they gained a little weight and don't want to say so. However, the weekly weigh in is a good place to continue getting the support you need.
I can lose or gain a couple of pounds overnight. Sometimes it's water, sometimes it's not having an, umm bowel movement, sometimes it doesn't make sense. If you haven't got your fitbit account tied to trendweight.com - it doesn't need a wifi scale. It's pretty good at giving you the overall trend for your weight.

I thought that at first as well, for other people, from their FAQ page:
If you don't have a scale, you can do things manually by creating a FitBit account and hand entering your weight there every day. Go ahead and connect your TrendWeight account to your FitBit account as if you had a scale. TrendWeight won't know that your weight readings were entered manually.
