I started out really well, then midweek a bad bout of depression knock me out of commission. I'm feeling better now, so hopefully this week will be much more productive. Definitely didn't expect to lose any weight especially after all the junk I put away yesterday

CICO is important; don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I was doing great all week - keeping my calorie deficit at around 750 calories per day instead of the usual 1,000. And then, Saturday happened. Dinner and a movie with my husband and 14 year old. I made the conscious decision to eat before looking up and logging my calories, but I should have known better. Johnny Rocket's bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a strawberry malt. That's all I had, I swear, but it ended up being a 2,420 calorie meal. This resulted in a total calorie deficit for the week of only 2,722 calories. So, I guess I deserved to only lose half a pound. I really need to be more careful on the weekends.

Hi Everyone! I am feeling good and doing well and hope everyone is doing the same. I'm still on the
'intermittent fast' (fancy way of saying only eat in an eight hour period!) and getting into the routine of eating from noon to eight pm only. Feels right.
Mental health is good too; I cultivate happiness inside of me and let it flow out to others - most excellent way to spend the day!!!! Remember that we don't need a reason to be happy, it is an inside job of appreciation. The universe is indeed out to help you and me.

Avg This Week: 173.7
Avg Last Week 173.1
I had a bad week. Made it in the gym twice and don't think I did any cardio. To top it off I made many poor nutritional choices over the last 3-4 days. Hoping it's just an off week and does not carry into this week.

Getting there. 159.0lbs weekly weigh in yesterday. 235lbs on July 19, 2015. Was 196.2lbs when I had the Fitbit on December 25, 2015.
5lbs to go. Might be a little more. Last target will be taut skin and a bonus whatever weight I end up.

Start 265 lbs 09/27/2015
This Week 158.8 03/13/2017
Last week 161 03/06/2017
Maintenance mode
Loss Range 105 lbs +/- 5 lbs
Back where I was a couple weeks ago. The good news is I didn't gain fat, the bad news is I didn't gain muscle. That's still kind of a goal but not as much as keeping fat off right now. I guess it was just water weight, etc. I feel good about it but I managed to not obsess about it all week. I ate healthy as usual and did not shrink my portions because I am not wanting to loose more mass. Feeling good, feeling like myself.

3/6/17: 216.50 (-1.75)
3/13/17: 217.00 (+0.50)
Total: -14.50
Mini-goal: 210 (4/29/17)
Not a great week, obviously. I've been fighting off a nasty upper respiratory something for almost a week now, and while I've polished off a z-pack, it seems to be taking its sweet time resolving. I missed two karate classes, and had to substantially back off on our Sunday workout for fear of hacking up a lung (I managed to do that when I tried on Friday night-nothing like have the whole class have to listen to you dry heave out the back door-yuck). Working on catching on some sleep, which has been really disturbed due to coughing, and waking up to my husband coughing as well. GRRRR. The most irritating thing, other than the cough, is that before I started feeling lousy on Tuesday, I had the best run I've had in ages on Monday afternoon.

@Pamala Thanks for posting. I know it wasn't the post you wanted to make, but I think it shows that you will keep on your plan and reach your goal because you are holding yourself accountable. That is hard to do sometimes.

2017 Goal Weight = 120.
3/1/2017 Start weight = 155
3/8/2017 153
3/15/2017 151
Short Term Goal = 150
Was so hoping to hit my short term goal.
Love this thread as everyone is so supportive and I always love the "honesty is the best policy" routine. I'm sure I will have my moments when my weight goes up but with all of you here to support me it will never be as bad as doing it alone. Thanks all.

Starting weight:
1st Jan 2017 142kg (313lbs)
Last week's weight:
10th Mar 2017 126.9kg (280lbs)
Today's weight:
16th Mar 2017 126.3kg (278.5lbs)
Target weight:
100kg (220lbs)
Not a bad week considering I ate out twice. I'm increasing the tempo of my walks. Next week I plan to start a run/walk regime. Mediterranean diet is still amazing me with its flavours and variety.
All is good!

When you can live with your lifestyle change you can lose weight and not have to worry about it. Not even worrying about gaining it back. Just give yourself time and you will steadily change.

Hi everyone! I'm at an all time high for me, and desperately need some help and encouragement. I was in a similar group before Christmas, but don't know what happened to it. FB - groups is pretty archaic. I would love to join if you'll have me!

I usually report on Sundays but I'm on a mini-travel holiday for March Madness (big deal college basketball tourney in US). Won't be back on the scale until Tuesday so I'll check in then. Having fun. Went to four games in Greenville SC on Friday and will see two tomorrow. Been In the bars on Main Street watching the rest of the games that started on Thursday and are on today. My wife and I are visiting friends too. Brought the bike and got some good rides in before the games start each day. 24 miles this morning. Trying to limit the damage to my weight loss regime with some good rides and minimal beer intake. 😀

@SunsetRunner- I'd pick a range and continue with the weekly weigh-ins. I remember reading somewhere that one of the common things that successful maintainers do is continue to step on the scale regularly. So going past your goal by 5 pounds is probably a good thing.
Myself, I'm still struggling with the head cold. I was feeling better on Tuesday but agreed to sub in for my boss at a business trip. It meant a long drive Wednesday and doing prep for the visit the next day. Then three hours of meetings and another long drive back. The only plus is I did a lot of steps Wed morning before leaving and the meeting was an 'on your feet walking' thing. I was actually down a bit this morning (even though I'm not actually trying this week) so we will see if it holds for tomorrow's weigh in.
