Start weight 18st ....goal weight 14st

I was16st 10lbs last week and this morning I weighed in at 16st 7lbs 🙂

 

I weigh in on Saturday mormings with the NHS weight loss forum so I can do the same here from this Saturday

Forgot to post the other day. Still on maintenance and lost -0.9 pounds for the week. For a total loss of -5.6 since I have been in maintenance mode.

Supercharged — I lost 1.5 kg (3.5 lbs). Finally seem to be losing the two+ kilos I gained starting in August. I have been concentrating my efforts on getting my step count up, and put exercising with weight on low priority. Also had increased my calorie intake (if I’m honest, not all of the extras were healthy choices).

Down a pound this week.  About half of what Fitbit would predict based on a daily energy deficit of 935 calories.  Just looking back at the recorded deficits over the past 3.5 months, Fitbit seems to overestimate my calorie burn or I under count what I eat by about 500 calories/day.  It is similar to the error rate I had when I was losing weight in 2017, so it is a consistent adjustment I have to account for when I'm counting calories. 

 

I've been counting calories for about 20 months now, and I think I'm close to ready to try managing my weight by hunger cues and scale feedback alone.   Not quite ready to give up the counting calories crutch yet, but getting close to trusting myself without doing that.

I weighed in at 16st 4lbs on Saturday so a total weight loss for this week was 5lbs

2 weeks in! Had my first trendweight "uptick" today. That's ok though. The good trend had to stop at some point right? Too much football watching food and drink over the weekend and not enough stepping. Still tracking the right direction though. 

 

9/10/18 starting weight - 189.9

9/17/18 - 187.5 - lost 2.4 pounds

9/24/18 - 186.5 - lost 1 pounds for the week - total loss of 3.4 pounds over 2 weeks.

Lost -0.2 pounds for the week and still in maintenance mode. On October 1st, I am going to start another 7 week deficit, which will take me up to Thanksgiving. After that I will go back into maintenance to finish out the year. Hopefully I can get to 217 by then end of the year.

Ahhhhh, finally made it back to where I was end-July. Not sure what caused the spike in weight, but think it was a combination of:

- relaxing dietary intake too much (content and volume!) 

- digestive system getting screwed up by the colonoscopy and treatment (and being shaken on learning a removed polyp was pre-cancerous)

- anxiety over hubby’s health conditions, etc.

- overcoming an eczema condition (health is holistic; one body ‘part’ is in trouble, all suffer in some way, too)

 

Learning to: listen to my body, eat smaller portions, get plenty of exercise (but know when rest is more important), ... to name a few.

I have never had so many consecutive days below 13% in the 5+ years I’ve been tracking BF% with my Fitbit Aria. I’m hoping the trend will continue for the next three weeks. I know it will stop once I start bulking again.

I just came back from a 7 days spiritual health conference in ABQ New Mexico where they don't necessarily have the most healthiest foods.  Neither does airport food are anything healthy either.  So I was expecting I will gain a lot of weight by sitting on my butt like 8hrs/day.  Mexican food and hotel hot breakfast aren't necessarily waist line friendly either.  The only thing I did was 2 -- 15min HIIT weight and strength training (train to extreme 100% muscle failure) and watching my eating portions, but I ate pretty much what you would expect from conference food.  Today I just got off the plane with food and water still in my stomach and expecting I'll gain weight.  Wow, I didn't expect to loose 4lbs!  From 144 lbs to 140lbs.  My waist line is also slightly thinner as my new pants is now getting a little loose.

Finished my last week of maintenance and lost 1 pound. This week I will be starting a 7 week deficit, which will take me right up to Thanksgiving. My plan is to do -750 calorie deficit per day. Hopefully this will get me down to 217 which is 20% of my starting weight. After that back on maintenance for the holidays.

Well, I've been tracking my weight for about 3 weeks and am down 3.5 pounds. That's the good news. Today was my first weigh-in of the week as I was traveling from last Saturday until yesterday (Thursday). That's the bad news. I got carried away in Chicago and had too much good food and drink, not enough exercise. I was doing so well too! Last Saturday's actual weigh-in was 185.3, with a trend weight of 186. Today, 5 days later, my actual weigh-in was a whopping 189, with the trend weight raising to 186.4. That's ok, to be expected. A whole lot of calories consumed over the week and not much burned. I'll baton down the hatches the rest of this week!

 

9/10 - 189.9

9/18 - 187.5 (weekly loss of 2.4)

9/24 - 186.5 (lost another pound)

10/4 (first weigh in of week due to travel) - 186.4 (lost .1)

 

Total loss of 3.5 pounds.

I'm down to 189.6 from 194, goal is 140, but getting my wait to stay below 190 is a real struggle. It just does not want to drop.
