Hi! I'm looking for some friends for motivation and support. I'm 51, female, and working on losing 30 lbs. My A1c is pre-diabetic so I'm shedding some weight to try and get it under control.
Anyone?

Hi! I'm 50 and looking for some motivation too. I always thought I'd have the weight off by now and my doctor is telling me my cholesterol is becoming a problem. I have a reunion in July and need to loose weight and get healthy. Looking to loose 20lbs by July if at all possible. I should probably loose closer to 30lbs ultimately. Good luck to everyone!!

Hi! You can lose 30 pounds! I've lost 202 pounds. I have 19 more to go. Support, encouragement, hard work, and consistency are things that need to become your world of words. If I believe you can do it, you have to start believing you can do it too! I'll be your friend and anyone else that wants a supportive, successful at losing weight, and an active Fitbit user please just ask. You can do this! It's not a temporary thing it's a lifelong lifestyle enhancement. It will change your life for the better in so many ways. Exercise not only makes the body feel good but wow it is the best medicine emotionally! I'm happy, less stressed, and reaching out to anyone wanting help in anyway! Barbara 🙂

Holy Moly Barbara. 202 POUNDS?!!! That's truly incredible. Just reading that inspired me. I went away for a much needed vacation and gained five...okay six pounds during my time away and since I got back (I slipped on black ice and couldn't workout for a week) I'm kind of in the dumps about getting back into the swing of things and your post just knocked the wind out of me. In a good way! Thank you for sharing your story and please friend me! I need your encouragement.

I had a problem with it not syncing with my iphone so I closed the app and shut the phone down. It worked beautifully when I powered the phone back up. Hope your problem is solved so easily.

Okey dokey - gained 5 pounds last week. (facepalm) Will get my 10 today and am trying to get back in the habit of walking before work. I miss my super fast metabolism from five years ago. Why did you have to leave me? On a brighter note, winter is over, so we've got that going for us. We're using the a/c at the office already. Gonna be a hot one!

I'm sorry about your accident. Boy that can take the wind out of your sails. But, it's not the end of the world it is only a bump in the road! You can get back on track and ease back into your exercise routine with no problems. The greatest part about this is YOU. YOU have the power and choice to put that Fitbit on, get a food plan, and start watching those numbers soar! I love it when I get that buzzing feeling after 10,000 steps. I am like a small child and cannot wait to sync my tracker on my computer or my phone. The tracker is such a motivation in itself!
If your injury is recovered, slap that tracker on your wrist, and let's get going. Oh get your water bottle out and never let it get empty!
You will do this!
Barbara 🙂 Oh I do not know how to ask you to be a friend????? I'm not that good on here! LOL 🙂

Crystal,
I would love to be your friend! I just do not know how to request you to be a friend. If you ask me, I would be happy to be your friend.
I am in the same boat. I have 18 pounds to lose. Those are the hardest pounds to lose when it is under 20. When I was at goal weight the last pounds just took more discipline and determination. The good news is with the Fitbit devices I have found I am on my way!
I use the Fitbit Force and the Fitbit Aria. I just love them. I am one of those that haven't had any problems but positive experiences so far.
I am learning there are so many ways to use our trackers and our scales and they are an added motivation and can help us move forward. Water is key too.
Let's get together all of us and see the end of the rainbow. This can be done ...no it wil be done. I'm a positive thinker and I have broken through more barriers dealing with negative and skeptical people. They are good people but I'd rather be around the positive thinkers! Join me and be on our way!
Barbara

You might try cleaning out your cache in your browser you use on your computer/laptop/or cell phone. After doing this, reboot the computer, and log back into your Fitbit account. If your Flex is fully charged and you clean your cache, then try and sync them I think you will succeed.
If that didn't work, log out of Fitbit on your computer, clean cache, have your Flex charged, then reboot your computer and your Flex and log into your account and it should automatically sync.
Try this. It should work!
Good luck.

Hi everybody!
I have been travelling and then busy. I started two online classes!
Then I misplaced my fit bit charger but just found it in the deep recesses of my travel bag!
I was feeling a bit out of sorts without my gadget but the good thing is I updated my blackberry operating system and now I can get APPS from Amazon so have the fitbit app running now!
Yay! I have lost 2 kilos which isn't much but it's fairly good considering my lack of physical activity.
When I was traveling I stayed at my friend's horse ranch and did work with her...my steps were way up!
I am looking for property now. Cannot wait to own horses!
Cheers
Carolyn
