Do you suppose we could figue out a way to track food so that tracking on one could sync with the other? Either WW to fitbit or fitbit to WW?

I track my food on My Fitness pal and the info syncs onto my Fitbit. You
could try that!

Welcome @Daisy6 !  Another Mid-westerner! Walking can outside can be a real challenge for even the hardier of us. Look thru these forum posts and you'll see a lot of tips. Some of my favorites were:

  • Take the long way to any room
  • Walk in place during tv commercials
  • Go to the malls and walk. Great people watching. Many of our malls open early for the walkers
  • If you have stairs, go up and down the stairs
  • Pace when on the phone

The trick is to keep moving. You will find, as many of us have, that the more you move, the more you want to move! I've never experienced this before in my life. The Fitbit is very motivating for me!

Hi @mcgahanm . I believe I read somewhere on these boards that WW will now link to FitBit. I suggest you use that little search box at the top, right of this screen:

and search for WW or Weight Watchers. Let us know if you do not find your answer.

You have done a great job! Hope I can say that by next February! I am not in a rush to lose my weight. Slow and steady wins that race. Thanks for you note of encouragement, it really helps.

Make sure you read board about securing device or you will be real upset when it pops off.

Hi Rubygirl

They are useful.  I got my One for Christmas and had a few queries.  I looked here and at help and both users and the FitBit team were very helpful.

Now I can't get enough of stepping and walking!  As I barely excercised at all before my One, it's doing me the world of good- I'm averaging 12,000 steps a day at the moment!

I'm new also, and looking for friends to motivate, and be motivated by! I got the FitBit Force, and really like it! Decided to walk downtown today to run an errand, rather than drive. Almost have all my steps in for the day. (I set my goals low for this week.)

Anyway, good luck everybody.  🙂   Sincerely,

I'm a Newbie as well.  I've had my Fitbit for a few months but was not serious until now.  Looking forward to making my first 10,000 step day.

Hi Everyone, I was here almost a year ago [joined in late Feb] but had issues with my Fitbit and ended up getting a refund. But I know so many people that love their Fitbits so I just got a Fitbit Zip [would love one of the other ones so I can track stairs as well as sleep but can't afford them right now]. So Zip it is.

I am also taking a 75 minute water aerobics class 3 mornings per week so I won't be going for a walk on those days, for now at least. Right now, I can walk just over a mile when I do go out for walks and I'm very slow. So it's going to take awhile before I get anywhere near 10,000 steps per day.
