Hello Guys,It has been two and a half months since I started exercise with the goal of losing 20 pounds in 3 months. Then I got ambitious and decided to keep myself in check by starting a Youtube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUKU6uP8T5X1v6f9gVIYpdg) to record my workout progress. One thing leading to another, I decided to track my progress and bought a pedometer. But it was limited and wasn't giving me all the information I needed to track my progress. Then my husband suggested that I get a Fitbit tracker; which I did and I immediately fell in love with it. It was just perfect. Not only I downloaded the app on my phone, but I also signed up at fitbit online. I love the dashboard with all the features that allow you to look at multiple facets of your workout routine. I must admit that my fitbit watch is a great motivator. Just looking at the numbers, it allows me to set new goals, pay attention to other things like what I eat or drink. I can set new goals and work to achieve them. I am just loving the whole fitbit experience. And now, my curiosity about it has led me to see what the community has to offer in terms of shared experience with fitbit. I think I would learn more from people here and improve my workout experience.

I would like to find some new Fitbit friends in the Phoenix, AZ metro area to be friends with where we can track our progress or even workout together.

Hello! The answer to your question is no, early 50’s is not too late. 😁 My husband started his body building quest at 50. He’s been in competition each year since and does very well! You can do what you tell yourself you can! 💪🏻😁 One of my most used gymspirations is “It’s a mindset. You just have to set your mind.”

Hi Illinois here 🙂
My first fitness goal is to lose 10 lbs....just diagnosed with borderline diabetes. 😞 because I am a beginner I am starting low (maybe this will motivate me 🙂 )
I love to walk and will as long as I can. I am a senior after all :)**early senior
What motivates me? Seeing the numbers on the scale go DOWN
My favorite guilty pleasure? Well there is a few. 1. chocolate 2. ICE CREAM (maybe #1) selling my antiques. Before the virus, I loved to travel. O did I say Chocolate? 😉

Hi, I have a question. I just got a fitbit versa 2, my husband has a fitbit versa. The calorie count on workouts are very different. there is 200 in the difference, same workout, same arm but my husbands reads 507 calories, while mine reads 307 calories. Is this a common problem or is there a fault?
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Kelsi.

Welcome to the forums @KelsiMcCaffrey There is nothing wrong. It takes into account age, sex, weight height. It will never match even another women
But Men Burn a lot more calories than women do. Sad but very true. Here s an article that help explains it
