  1. Where in the world are you? The USA
  2. What is your current health/fitness goal? Regain health and healthy lifestyle, improve Diabetes control, lose a LOT of weight safely.
  3. How do you like to stay fit? Paleo & Gluten Free diet; just really getting back into it seriously and trying to improve SOB so I can see real results so Elliptical and free weights at home until we don't have to wear masks at the health club.  I love the machines because I can safely use more weight than I can with free weights at home.

  4. What motivates you? I loved working out until I got sick and extreme fatigue set in.  I want that feeling back.  I want to enjoy being active as my husband and I grow old together.  I want to feel better and look better.  The bigger you get, the worse the clothing selections.
  5. Favorite guilty pleasure   Cuddling with my husband and dogs while we watch a good movie.  Food wise, I love fresh fruit.

Looking forward to getting to know you all.

I decided to hire a fitness coach/trainer who has gone through significant weight loss and understands the struggles with morbid obesity and how it changes your mobility and endurance.

It's funny (or not so) because my mind knows what to do and how to work out - for the young solid athletic person I used to be but not this seriously padded all over body.  It really limits how far you can bend - adduction/abduction and bending of limbs and abdomen.   I had a very fit and strong body until I was in my 40s.

Success will be slow and steady for sure.

Hello everyone! I'm  Robin. I'm 45 and  I live in Katy, TX but I'm originally from Lexington, KY. So my current health goals are to lose weight (I need to drop about 50 lbs. Yikes!), I want to lower my resting heart rate, increase my sleep, and be less stressful. For staying for and active, I have 5 kids ages 22, 11,9,7, and 3) and I recently joined them in taking ATA Taekwondo. I am currently a Yellow belt. I also like walking to stay fit. So my health and goals are completely motivated by my kids and that is why we are taking taekwondo together. My favorite guilty pleasure is chocolate and Krispy  Kreme Donuts.
