Who has the Most Lifetime Fitbit Steps?

I thought it might be fun to see some of the "Total Lifetime Steps" figures from a few of the more diehard Fitbiters out there. I've been using my Fitbit Ultra for just about 2 years, and noticed that I've now gone past the 5 Million Steps mark (I'm currently at: 5,018,549 steps).

While 5 Million Steps may seem like a lot to some newer Fitbit users, I can tell you for sure, that my wife easily has me beat, since she now has logged over 7½ Million Steps (and we both started using our fitbits right around the same time).

But of course, I'm sure we could actually see some really amazing high figures if some of the more agressive Fitbit users would like to share their current Lifetime totals with the community.

@yu4517Peter, I remember it well... We both joined within a month of each another.. I member your initial goal was to walk the circumference of the earth..  You have exceeded that and now approaching 2.5 times.. 2.46 times to be exact..  Maybe, to aim for 3 times...

Well done..

Hi
I was given my original fit bit as a present 21 October 2011.
3,119 days ago.
Current count 109,409,269 steps
61,259.2 miles.
Current target 100,000 km should get there 21 June 2020. Then I have to think of a new target.

It is a pity that Fitbit do provide the graphs that they did in the early days giving averages over the various age groupings.

Would like to know if anybody has passed my count.

Stay fit and avoid CV19

Peter

Wow you guys are really dedicated and are a real inspiration to keep stepping. I 've now done 6.5 mil steps in 2 1/2 years with the first 6 months building up 8 to 10 miles a day average. I' m on my second fitbil with the first charge 2 lasting 2 years and now a charge 3 the last 6 months. My adult children bought both for me as they like the new me down 75 lbs and feeling great. Keep up the good work.

Hey @yu4517

Another oldtimer here.  I joined in March 2011.  Glad you found this thread.  It seems to get buried whenever I think about it, and I missed checking in last March, but as of today:

Steps | 74,885,573

Floors | 311,052

Distance | 38,906.57 mi

Looks like my next milestone of 75M steps is coming up.

@WendyB Hmmm it looks like your steps went down from last year. How can that be? Here is your post from April 2019. You had over 58M steps!

Here is mine so far. As you can see, I had a pretty slow start. And then I had four months in 2017 I didn’t even wear my Fitbit. So I feel a little behind!

Hey @Heather-S, looks like it has been picking up for you. Great numbers for you too @mikesbra

I haven’t been around quite as long as @WendyB, but it will be 10 years next March. The steps and floors just keep piling up, though I think the periods of 30K/day for extended periods are behind me. That seemed to be a little too hard on my feet. I often do more, but my daily target now is 15K/day.  @yu4517 you are amazing. I don’t think you’ll stop when you hit 80 next year. What would you do? 😀

@WendyB Still around, 81 next month and physio is keeping an eye on me. Sport injuries are catching up with me. Hip replacement a few years ago, lower back issues and now pole walking to take pressure off the back. A man's op hasn't helped but in remission. My Ionic is still tracking well. We are all well and in Stage 4 Covido lockdown and only allowed out for one hour of exercise and for walking we must wear a mask. Also only one allowed out of the house for one hour  shopping in a 5km radius. We're surviving.. Ironically this topic coincides with me being allowed to increase my activity. Keep well😷

Hi everyone, well done on keeping up the walking. Quite amazing large step counts. I started counting in February 2017 and have reached the 30 million step mark. Here is a screen cap of my current Fitbit status. My daily average on day 1294 is just hovering under 24k and I am expecting it to go above that a little asI am involved in a walking challenge this month.
