I've used all the troubleshooting tips and having to reboot every day.  This started last week.  What happened?

As loriruns said, "

I have used all of the tips I have read. They sync 1 maybe 2 times then I am troubleshooting again.

  1. I have rebooted the device on my computer by shutting it off and restarting it.
  2. I have tried to reinstall the device as a new fitbit one on my android phone. Usually it can not find the One to add it. Occasionally it syncs my steps but it will not do it without me reinstalling the device again.
  3. I have turned my bluetooth on and off trying to get the fitbit One to sync. The message on the phone states the--"Fitbit One rejected the pair."
  4. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my Fitbit app on my samsung phone. That worked for one sync then nothing since yesterday.

This has been going on for weeks and everyday I am repeating the fixes listed on this help forum. You have broken something with new update and it is NOT... fixed.

I have had a fitbit since 2011 and you have always handled the problems with updates in a timely manner. I am becoming more frustrated everyday. Please continue to address these issues."

I say, "DITTO!"  I'm experiencing the same thing.  So disappointed.  Fitbit--why aren't you helping?

My Fitbit One hasn't synced since Aug 22nd.  I try daily, but keep getting the 'Not found' message. Very frustrating.

Have you tried re-adding your One in “Add New Device” in the app? It worked for me and mine is syncing just fine now. I’m wondering if Fitbit is pulling support for the One since they no longer sell it.

Mine is working but since there are so many people who are still having issues...
I noticed there was a windows update the other day and an Apple
update today. Make sure to do the update - then try all the support suggestions and I bet the ONE will sync back up! Sometimes updates don’t finish so not everything works the first try. Try everything twice. Then reboot. Good
Luck!

I was due for an upgrade on my Samsung phone. Since I got the new phone, my Fitbit one has been syncing just fine.  I'm guessing that was the problem.  I'd still love a new Fitbit One, though--the face of mine is all scratched. Wish Fitbit would come up with a good alternative, or bring it back!

Check out the Fitbit Inspire. I think you can detach it from the wristband and buy a clip (for around $20) that it will fit in and function like the One. Someone mentioned this to me, but I’m not sure if this is true or not.

This is the only thing that worked for me.  Reinstall the fitbit one and I didn't lose any of the steps from my previous weeks.  Thank you!!!

Version 3.9.1 has just become available for my Samsung phone.  I have installed it and will see if this has introduced any more problems or actually solved the ones some of you appear to still be having.  Watch this space!

I have been having to do the charger-cable-button-press boogie every day since Saturday. It is a pain in the butt to do, but the reset lasts long enough for me to sync and I don't mind having to do this to keep my One functional. I love it so. But maybe Google will bring it back. IMO one of their greatest mistakes has been to discontinue the One. So convenient and easy to use. They had a winner with the One. But they dumped it. Apparently their marketing department is as dumb as their tech department. Hopefully now that they are sold we might have a chance to get the One back. I say start a petition to bring it back.
