One not syncing previous days

I am syncing today but no previous days are showing up.  I have tried restarting, restarting my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling the app and turning off and on bluetooth.  I have not changed accounts or phones or emails.  Anything else I can do to get the data?

@LilKip Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for reporting the situation you are experiencing with your previous days data. Thanks for trying those steps in order to sort this out.

Did you wore and synced your device for those previous days? How many days of data were lost?

This could be happening is as a result of not wearing it or not syncing your data for some time. You can always manually log any activities if you need to recover any previous data.

Keep me posted!

Yes, I was wearing my device and it was charged.  I typically only sync once a week and when I did only that day came through and not the previous days like it usually does.

@LilKip Thanks for your reply and for providing those details. That is very strange. Fitbit devices recorded detailed minute-by-minute data for seven days. They can store daily totals for up to 30 days.

Did you had it paired to your account when you were syncing it?

I'd recommend syncing your Fitbit device on a daily basis. I sync around three times a day. One in the morning to check my sleep, one in the afternoon, and one before sleeping.

Hope this helps. Keep me posted!

I'm having a similar issue but mine hasn't synced in 4 days.  I downloaded the app on my to try to get it to sync that way and it's not recognizing the dongle.either.  It's like it doesn't recognize the Fitbit even though it's tracking my steps.

It was paired.  I just have a period of 8 days that is missing.  I was wearing it and would check my stats on the fit bit periodically but wasn't syncing everyday.

I had that issue a couple times in the past year, now the date is off by two days.  Never got the missing data back and I'm tracking "Today" as Sunday, not Tuesday.  But at least it still works.

As others have said, BRING BACK FIT BIT ONE! (and support)

@mudrat54 Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for reporting that you have also experiencing this. Also, thanks for your feedback.

If your tracker is syncing properly, but the date is incorrect; you should take a look at your time zone settings to check if they are correct. Also, check if the date on the mobile device is correct. Once you make any changes on your settings; sync your tracker to make them effective.

@LilKip Thanks for your reply and for sharing those details. That is very strange. Please sync your One every day and check if you happen to experience the same situation once again. If you do, please let me know!

It is strange.  My ONE is synch'd to an Android and has 'Automatic Time Zone', 'Auto Location', and 'all day sync' enabled.  I do travel the world and have been in Ireland, Bahrain and Japan in the last year, but the day/date sync was always correct until a couple months ago it fell off by two days.

The Droid is reporting network time and date, I just 'forced' a sync and my ONE is showing correct time, but wrong day.

@mudrat54 Thanks for your reply and for providing those details. Those countries sounds like great places to travel.

In this case, try turning off the "Automatic Time Zone" option and selecting the time zone manually, then sync.

If that doesn't work, try the workaround on this post here. That should certainly help you out to get the date correct.

Try that out and let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy
