Since yesterday evening, I have been unable to sync my FitBit One with my Android phone. I have tried restarting the phone and reinstalling the app but this hasn't fixed the issue. Is anyone else having problems? =(

I just did your solution and it worked like a charm. It took my fitbit one almost 30 seconds to say 6.60.  Thank you!

For almost a month I had trouble synching my Fitbit one. I did all the suggestions offered and nothing seemed to work.  I decided that the dongle was just not working  correctly so I bought a new one. Voila! It works now!  Best. Christmas. Present. Ever.

Hi, I have just noticed that my Fitbit One doesn't sync. It hasn't done that since Feb 19th. I have trying everything but still it doesn't work on my computer or on my Samsung Galaxy. On my phone I only get the message that the connection is "dismissed". Can anyone help me?

Try your Bluetooth settings. That sorted mine out.

I've been having the same issue since Feb 26th. My fitbit won't sync to either my phone or to my computer and all it keeps telling me that it's looking for my tracker. Nothing has changed on my phone or computer so I'm not sure why it won't sync and doesn't even show up any longer.

If you are using a dongle, unplug from the computer.
Hold down the button on your fitbit and turn off.
Wait a few minutes, plug in the dongle, and turn the fitbit back on.
It should reset.

I lost 30 days of syncing, but it was all stored in the fitbit, and loaded
back in.

If this doesn't work, call Fitbit directly, and have them walk you through
it.

Have you switched to Windows 10, that seemed to be a common problem for a
lot of people.

Good luck

I am having a similar problem connecting to iPhone 7 Plus.  It won't update to iPhone app and it is not holding a charge. I charged it fully this morning and it had a dead battery by 5 PM.

After restarting my fitbit it's not syncing to my phone at least.

Could you just give us a button on the website to click on and force the sync?  This is a big issue.

If you are connecting to a USB using a dongle I have found it is imperative to plug the Fitbit and dongle into the port prior to syncing using the button on your computer. This works for me most of the time.

Hello my friends! It is nice to see you, and it is unfortunate to hear that your buddy is not syncing correctly. Let's try to fix this issue by following these instructions. Also, like some have suggested, a few restarts solve this type of problems.

To restart your One:

  1. Plug your charging cable into your computer.
  2. Plug your Fitbit One tracker into the charging cable, making sure that the gold contacts on your tracker align with the gold contacts in the inside of the charger.
  3. Hold down your tracker's button for 10-12 seconds.
  4. Remove your tracker from the charging cable and press its button until the screen turns on.

Let me know how it goes!

Which button are you pressing? The one on the fit bit?

I usually press the sync button on the Fitbit Connect. You should have one either in your Fitbit Program or in your icons on the computer, or both. Insert the One in the dongle/charger and attach to an active USB port then press the "Sync Now" on the Fitbit Connect screen. The screen may end up being behind active windows, though that is not too likely.

Thank you.  I lost my sync last night and therefore lost over a two miles worth of steps.  I am glad it is back up and running before my day starts.  Its all because of you.  Thank you
