Since yesterday evening, I have been unable to sync my FitBit One with my Android phone. I have tried restarting the phone and reinstalling the app but this hasn't fixed the issue. Is anyone else having problems? =(

Thank you for the easy fix. I'm back in business. I feel lost without my Fitbit One.

Mine has not worked since 4 am 8/3/16. Too much of a coincidence to think that this many people would have a problem all within the same time frames???

For some reason I have not been so lucky? I've done this now four times and unfortunately for me it is not working. FITBIT 6.60 will show in display but Fitbit still not syncing.

It was surely a coincidence--just like my user profiles (two at admin level) died just after the free upgrade to Windows 10 went away................

I had the same problem and just now got it to work. I uninstalled the Fitbit app in my adroid phone and re-installed it, signed into Fitbit site on my phone, from Dashboard I clicked on the type of Fitbit device I use (this took me to another screen), I then clicked on the Sync now option, I had to do this twice and it was back! Finally, after two days, yeah! I'm no techie so this was an accomplishment for me. Good luck to you!

I also had a sudden inability to sync this week (iPhone app; dongle attached to two MACs and four USB ports). I tried all the suggestions I could see on this website. Nothing worked. I assume not coincidentally, the Fitbit device also discharged rapidly going from 100% to nothing in under 12 hours. When I had a chance, I plugged in the cable to the Mac to charge the device. At first the device seemed completely dead but then started to recharge. Expecting nothing, I tried the Fitbit app on my phone after there was some level of charge and, to my surprise, the device synced up immediately. It's only been 24 hours but things seem back to normal. Apparently draining the battery cleaned out something.

Ok, now let me try. What did you do with your Windows software? You updated it, it certainly looks different, and now about nine times out of ten it absolutely will not sync if I try to "Sync Now." It just goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on until it times out. Meanwhile, it absolutely can synch all by itself, even while I'm trying to sync it manually.
You guys ruined it, now please fix it!
And yes, over and over and over and over and over again, I have tried the whole routine to plug the One into the cradle, hold the button down, and so on. That doesn't help. You "updated" the Windows software, and it hasn't worked properly ever since. Could someone please fix whatever the heck you broke?

I've done everything suggested multiple times.
It only syncs on my Macbook if I hit refresh. It doesn't sync on my iPhone until it updates on the Macbook. Doing my head in.

No, no worries about anyone here in the forum -- it's the "programmers" at Fitbit that basically ruined a very simple program that worked perfectly. For years. All I want to do is do a "sync now" at the end of the day, then record those numbers on a spreadsheet I use to track various healh numbers. The new version of the software -- "Fitbit Connect" -- seems to sync automatically properly, but the "sync now" feature just sits there searching and searching and searching and searching for my Fitbit One, and never finds it. Again, I think it worked once or twice, but "nine times out of ten," it just won't find my Fitbit One.
I finally went to Fitbit's "setup" page, and found that they had some older versions listed on their software for Windows page, so I downloaded the version they had listed for Windows XP. I just installed that right over the existing program, and, of course, it worked perfectly right from the start. I fully expect that the "programmers" at Fitbit have decided that "everyone has moved to Windows 10," and that's what broke their software on older versions of Windows -- I'm using Windows 7, just like a very substantial percentage of Windows users who will never, ever go to Windows 8 or 10.
My only issue was "OK, so how do I keep Fitbit Connect from automatically upgrading itself to a new version that won't work?", but I got an answer to that when I booted up my computer this morning -- right there on the screen was a little dialog box asking if I wanted the program to automatically update itself or not. So, I chose "not," of course, and hopefully that'll be the end to my sync problems.
So, again, no worries for anyone in the forum -- I appreciate everyone's help. I just get frustrated at "programmers" that make "new, improved" software versions that break functions that used to work perfectly.

I followed all of the advise, and after numerous attempts to reset, resynce, install/uninstall, my fitbit finally worked again. It downloaded all my data for a months worth of info.
Glad I found this forum to get great advise.
Thanks!!!
