I'm wondering if I'll start getting any Fitbit (or other) 'spam' messages if I give Fitbit my mobile phone number?
At the moment I get email notification of my low battery level - but very often I'm not looking at emails in time to see the message. I'm thinking of getting the text alert instead ..... but I don't - DON'T! - want to start getting ANY other messages from Fitbit or others (I don't know if I'm getting any email spam from having done this because I get a lot of spam anyway and not sure of the source of it ....)
Will doing this put me in danger of getting other texts .... from anybody, even Fitbit?
Thanks! 😀

@bytes It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!
Thank you for your inquiry. Keeping your information private is important to Fitbit. If you have any questions you can check the privacy policy. Still you won't get any spam messages.
Let me know how it goes.

You will only get the notifications that you request to receive @bytes.
I assume that a user will request what they want and therefore it isn't spam.
