App wont find my Charge 2 to sync

Have come back to use my charge 2 watch after not having used for a few weeks and noticed the date and time is out so went into the app to sync it to enable update and the app will not find my watch anymore. Have turned off phone and tried re-installing the fitbit app but nothing is working, anyone else having problems with sync atm??

@Tinyt23 Thanks for stopping by! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you syncing your Charge 2 with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
