I cannot pair my Charge 2 with my phones bluetooth since the android phone update today 11th June 2019. It says that I need to "check my

It is unable to pair and I need to check my device settings.

I have been online and followed all the advice for unpairing my Fitbit, deleting and reinstalling the Fitbit app, turning my bluetooth on and off etc. But nothing works 😖

Let me help you with your Charge 2 syncing issues. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

 

Please be aware that Android users are having issues syncing with Android 9 (Pie), you can check this thread to keep up to date with this.
