Charge 2 Blank Screen But green lights on

Charge 2 screen went black. The green lights on still. I tried charging, restarting but no luck. It vibrates and shows working on app. Any ideas???

If you go all the way to the bottom you will see a place where you can contact them. I sent a message and added my home phone and cell for follow up about quality control. 

Pass the word to all users with problems so we can at least try to get them to review the problems and respond to them appropriately..

My fitbit Charge 2 has a blank screen but the green light is on and it
still buzzes. It is two years old. A lot of money for two years of use.

 

I am not seeing it.

I did get a response from a tech and made it clear a response from a tech was not appropriate based on the overall concerns.  I will see what I get back and may copy what I wrote and what I got for a reply.  

I am being very nice about it but persistent.

The blank screen but green lights on is the straw that broke the camel's back.  The Charge HR 2 is the last Fitbit product I will own.  Giving out a measly discount to buy new product won't lessen my anger or keep me as your customer.  It's insulting!  

 

I stayed your customer for 4 years because I liked your app and didn't want to lose my performance data.  Since Fitbit doesn't value customers, I'm going to take my business elsewhere.  Wake up Fitbit!

My screen remains blank after pressing and holding the button to restart my tracker.  Yes, I followed the instructions.

The samething happend to my fitbit charge 2 it told me there was an update i updated it and when it was done the screen was black the green light was on but nothing was showing on the screen it vibrated when i plug it n or hold the button but the screen stays black any ideas y

How can this be the first time you've heard about this I read for five different post on Fitbit Community about the same thing so what am I supposed to do about it I mean I bought this watch from you guys after a month or so it just stops working I mean I gave you a lot of money for this watch so is there anyway using direct me to somebody but has that with this because I know somebody has I've read messages about the same thing happening and then getting new Fitbit watches so I know somebody has heard about this it's all over Fitbit community and I'm not trying to be rude I'm so if I am coming off that way I apologize I'm just a little upset over my watch thinking.

 

How you doing I think I'll do the same thing if I don't get the response I think I should I get this is ridiculous we gave a lot of money for these watches they should fix it immediately thank you for taking a stand.

I also have this problem. My Charge 2 is fully charged bit screen is blank. It's syncing to the app ok. Have tried resetting it various times but it just vibrates and then stays blank.

 

I've raised an issue with Customer Support but was wondering if anyone had managed to get theirs working?

I don't work for FitBit. All I've done is post what I did when my screen
went blank which I thought was from moisture but it still worked with the
app. You posted something other than that. Yours went blank after a
software upgrade. That should be fixable with a reset but I haven't
experienced it. The end result may be the same but how it got there is
totally different.

My charge 2 does the same thing... 1 year warranty is all you get with
them...

I have always had fantastic service from Fitbit so a lot of the comments on
here are really alien to me. I've emailed them and they got back to me
quickly so am hoping this will be sorted soon for me.

I had great service too, until I was outside of the warranty period. In
retrospect, I shouldn't have had to contact them within a year of purchase
on 2 different devices to begin with. I also understand the purpose and
meaning of a warranty. That said, when there are a huge percentage of
consumers experiencing the same problem, it's no longer an issue of caveat
emptor but instead a company with the responsibility to make products that
work.

Fitbit knows it has issues with its product and has not made any progress to making a reliable fix.

To blame the issue on sweat or liquid is asinine. Their product should work for athletes because we all sweat...

This exact thing is happening with my Charge 2. I’ve tried resetting it and the problem still occurs. Any suggestions on what I should do from here?

Nothing will help if it's over a year old. It's done for. Complain and
you'll get between 25-40% off your next purchase. That's it. They know
there's a problem and refuse to fix it.

I want to know - is there a way to send all these complaints to Fitbit at once.I am getting all the copies of the complaints on my email but I do not see any replies from fitbit.I just want to ensure that they are notified of all this.
