Charge 2 Blank Screen But green lights on

Charge 2 screen went black. The green lights on still. I tried charging, restarting but no luck. It vibrates and shows working on app. Any ideas???

I know of no fix other tnan what you have tried. Most continue to use it
without the screen since it still reports data but if it is unpaired you
won't be able to do that. Only option now since they are well out of
warranty is to go to their website and open a chat with customer service
discuss your problem and hope they offer you a discount on a new
replacement.

Charge 2 screen went black, green light flicking, fully charged won’t help, screen still black, the app is working shows tracking,

Screen on my Fitbit charge 2 is dead. Happened slowly, the screen started to dim and was like that for a few days. The over the course of a day or two it started to gradually fade into black. It still works in the sense that I can charge it and wear it and it will track and sync all the information, but I cannot see anything from the Fitbit. I have let it die, re charged it, restarted it. Please don’t offer that as a suggestion. I got this Fitbit in dec 2018, so this is pretty disappointing.

The good news is it is still under warranty and Fitbit has been very good
at replacing items under warranty. Also Google's parent company has made
an offer to buy Fitbit which could provide a better product in the future.

Someone just mentioned their charge 3 is doing the same thing as what all of our charge 2 did .  If this happens again that will be it for Fitbit.

Had a similar issue with Charge 2 after 2y plus some moths of use. No success with restarting. Besides blank screen, the item is fully working and syncing. Will contact Fitbit support. Did not realize that it could be a design flaw before.

All I can do is suggest you go to their website and talk to service support
and hope they give you a discount on a newer version. As long as it still
sends data to the app you can still use it to keep track of your
activities. If you want a fully functional unit look for a holiday
discount.

My Fitbit charge 2 hasn't turned in a month but it still vibrates but the screen just doesn't work. I've tried restarting it and it didn't work. What else should I do?

Hi -- I think I have the Charge 2. Same issue -- seems to be charging, green lights go on, vibrates. It even vibrates when I hold onto the sides for a few seconds. Screen though is completely dark. There is no battery icon either. Please help. Thank you.

I haven’t heard of anyone saving their FitBit once something like this
happens. A chat with customer service on their website might offer some
help, otherwise look for a good holiday sale.

Hello, I am having the same problem, had funny lines and dots come up on the display yesterday 20/12/19. Then display stopped working completely, has heart rate sensor flashing and vibrating when button pressed. Syncs with my phone no problem, still reads steps and alarms work but no dusplay.

Sounds like the same way mine and other screens have stopped. I personally
think it is due to moisture building up and shorting the screen leads out.
Only options I know of is to use it as is or take advantage of one of the
holiday sales. I would recommend chatting with customer service on their
web site but I think the Christmas sales are probably as good as any
discount they might offer.
