Charge 2 Blank Screen But green lights on

Charge 2 screen went black. The green lights on still. I tried charging, restarting but no luck. It vibrates and shows working on app. Any ideas???

Dan, Thank you for your reply to my post. I hear your point, but this will
be the second time it's happened (My wife's also went out this way). Hers
lasted three months, mine about five. I think I will look for another brand.

They should then be under warranty if only a few months old. Fitbit has
been very good on honoring warranty. I was leaning toward an Apple Watch
myself except my daughter has to charge her’s every day and usually its
overnight. I read that is why apple doesn’t have the sleep analysis that
FitBit does because most people charge it instead of sleeping with it on.
I gave FitBit another try with an ionic because of longer battery life and
water resistance.

**** HELP & SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!!!****

My Charge 2 had a thick, white line across the screen... After I reset it, like instructed on the troubleshooting forum, it now is completely black. The green light still shines green. I'm lost without it!

Hi, I've tried everything suggested but my screen is still blank. Green lights are on & when plugged in it doesn't vibrated but is still registering to my app on my phone. Where do I go to from here

Leaving this thread. 
All I have keep getting is more and more notifications that users whose fitbit died like mine and can’t get it to work. It’s been a good 4 months of this.  Not one peep from fitbit. Glad they care.

If anyone has been able to recover from this I haven’t seen their post.
Best advice I have is to start a chat box with customer service on their
website or use one of the discount offers they had over the holidays. I
don’t know if they apply to Norway. I used mine without the display until
I got a discount on an Ionic that is water resistant. I think moisture
built up in my charge 2 until the leads to the screen shorted out.

I have the same issue.  My screen went black but it has a green light on the back. I try your suggestions but not working.

I haven't heard of anyone's fitbit recovering from this. Only options are
use it as long as it sends data to your app, look for a new one on sale or
chat with customer service on their web site and hope they give you a
discount on a new one. As this model is getting old I think the first two
options are your only choice.

Mine went black today.  Was working fine this afternoon and this evening it was black.

 

Green lights on in the back.  Tried restarting and get lines across the face, but can’t read anything

I just experienced the same thing with my Fitbit. I did follow all of the instructions below but it didn't resolve my problem. Is there any way you guys might be able to help with this?

I would love to hear if you need any information regarding my Fitbit device I am glad to send that.

Sounds like the screen contacts are shorted out. I don't know of a fix.
Seems this is how they eventually fail. You can still use it if it is
linked to your phone or tablet. Otherwise only advice is to look for a new
one on sale or chat with customer service on their website and maybe get a
discount from them.

Green lights are on, but nothing on the screen.  It was able to sync and get an update but nothing on screen.  The fit bit does vibrate when the button is pushed but nothing shows up.

Same issue as most here. Fitbit screen is completely dead. It syncs, app updates, green lights on back are on, contacts are clean, it vibrates when it should. Literally everything works exactly as it should but the screen is always black. Has anyone actually gotten any help on this? I assume this is a dead end and I’ll have to go buy another one.

Blank Screen still charges and records my activity tried all of the instructions FitBit sent me from how to charge your device how to clean your device and how to reboot your device bit still no screen. I have had the device since1/25/2019 so not even a year. Still waiting for hear back from FitBit.
