Charge 2 screen went black. The green lights on still. I tried charging, restarting but no luck. It vibrates and shows working on app. Any ideas???

Tried everything but after Fitbit logo appeared, not able to see anything even tried to charge further. But charging is also seems to be affected. These all things started when there was automatic notification on/off display and vibration started day before yesterday night. Please guide what to do? What might be the issue?

Same happened to my son. Warranty just outside 2 years. It was cheaper to buy on amazon than through fit bit less 10%. We found an old one of my husbands that was still working but had a cracked screen & my son is now using that one. We kept his fit bit in the hope it would suddenly start working again. I charge it up every now and then. Green lights are still on but screen still dead. Don't think there is much hope. Will go for a different make next time i buy one as I had a charge 3 which the screen also broke but luckily it was just inside the 2 year warranty so i was sent a replacement middle bit. Sorry not to have better news but i think once the screen is blank the fit bit is dead.

Same happened to my son. Just out of warranty so nothing could be done. Also happened to my charge 3 at 22 months so fitbit sent me a replacement. Screen wasn't blank but had loads of white lines on it and finally stopped responding. I agree that there is a fault & its not fixed with charge 3 either.

Same happened to my sons. It never came back and out of warranty so will not buy another fit bit. 😞

Same happened to my son's. Was still getting data but screen blank and green lights on. Still charging. In fact still have it and still charge it from time to time but the screen is still dead and its out of warranty so fitbit said we could buy another one less 10% from fitbit but it's cheaper on amazon and I'm not buying another fitbit as it seems to be a common problem. Also charge 3 no better. Screen stopped responding after 22 months. Luckily this one was in warranty.

I have done this. We completed the troubleshooting procedure twice and still nothing. The result from FitBit was a 10% coupon on a new one. I do not have the warm & fuzzies about this product, so a 10% discount is surely not an enticement. I would prefer service or a replacement. I do not want to wear a band on my arm that can give me ZERO real time info to track it later from the app.

Hi there,
I purchased a FitBit Charge 2, I haven’t used it in awhile (kept it safe in the original box). I charged it today (I see the green lights) but it doesn’t vibrate nor does the screen turn on. I have cleaned it, plugged it into my computer, tried to restart it by holding the side button x4 seconds while plugged in, nothing works. Can you please help me? I really want to get back to using my Fitbit and exercising during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Shannon

I have tried restarting several times. Last night when I held the button down for 8 seconds it would at least vibrate, today it's not even doing that. Website indicates it is still recording and syncing but the screen is completely blank (not even battery icon) and no vibrations. Help please.
Edit: scratch that. It recorded through yesterday (when it was at least still vibrating), today it is no longer even recording. Battery is full, btw.

My Fitbit has charged to full, the green light and vibrations work, it will also sync properly but the screen is black. I have tried resetting it and changing the clock face. Nothing seems to bring the screen back.

I have a similar problem. A few weeks gaps of pixels started showing up in my screen. I didn’t think much of it as most of the screen worked and everything was legible. However, this morning when I woke up I tried checking the time and the screen was completely blank. No sign of any working pixels. The vibrations and heart rate monitor still work and I can sync to my app but I can’t see anything on the device itself.
