Charge 2 screen went black. The green lights on still. I tried charging, restarting but no luck. It vibrates and shows working on app. Any ideas???

I have the same issue. I tried all the troubleshooting you listed below.

On May 28 my charge 2 screen froze over night. I tried restarting procedures suggested. Nothing worked. This morning my screen is blank but the charge 2 is still working .

Same issue - chatted with online support after trying to reset the Charge 2 a few times.
Essentially, buyer beware. It's a disposable product and Fitbit (Google) takes no responsibility beyond 12 months.
"
I understand. You can buy a new one if you want since the display is defective however we don't be replace your Charge 2 for you since its out of warranty.
We recommend to contact Amazon if its covered on there end or they can provide you discount because we usually replace this kind of cases so long its within the one year warranty."
No discount offer, no apologies.
No, I do not want to buy a new Fitbit after this.

My fitbit charge 2 also did this back in March and hasn't worked since. But I just learned how to reset it on this forum and it seems to have worked. Fingers crossed.

Hi
they could not fix it but i did restart again later it did come back on . Not convinced as way out of warranty that it won’t happen again so invested in a new apple watch.
log in to your account online and request code on the chat section.good luck.

I’m having the same problem with my charge 2... the green lights are on, it still tracks (I can sync the data to my phone) but the screen is black. How did you fix the others up in the thread? I tried resetting it as per the instructions, but I must be missing something.
thank you in advance,
neil

Mine doesn't work anymore. This is the 2nd one to go bad. I would like to get another one, but throwing money after bad products, I just can't bring myself to do. So I haven't had a Fitbit for several weeks now.
I called Fitbit and they stated if it was not under warranty there is nothing they can do. Oh well.

I have tried everything you said. It buzzes once but nothing else happens. It is still synced with my phone, my steps are recording on my phone and the green lights are flashing underneath but the screen is black.

All of a sudden mine started vibrating while sitting with all sorts of different messages crossing the screen. My screen is now totally black but is charged with green light on back. This is my third model of fitbit. I cannot count on them working and will not be purchasing another. Dependability is important to me. Mine is about 2 years old.

Mine went into zombie-mode in june as well. Black screen, but still green lights in the back. Keeps counting steps and heartbeat, but the display is dead. 🤨
