Charge 2 screen went black. The green lights on still. I tried charging, restarting but no luck. It vibrates and shows working on app. Any ideas???

I’ll probably replace mine at their offered discount but I’m thinking of maybe trading up to an Apple Watch.

Thanks. Mine was not near water or moisture unless wearing it inside with
air conditioning during humid weather was a cause.

They are nice. My oldest daughter has had several. Once warranty expires
you don’t get any consideration. You need to charge them often don’t go
over 2 days it seems. She usually charges her’s overnight so you lose the
sleep analysis that I like.

Right now my Ionic is on day 5 at 58%. Don’t really know how long it will
last because I usually charge it when I am not active. Using its GPS will
greatly shorten the time.

You can get an Apple Watch for a similar price but I don’t think it is
water resistant.

Other than that it seems like a fun item to wear but isn’t for me. I don’t
think I would use the many great features that much. Now if it could take
Blood Pressure readings that would change things

I,too, feel helpless...and a bit betrayed; I bought multiple times with
confidence only to be disappointed. Fitbit, do you not care at all about
your customers?

Hello, my fitbit screen has stopped working but the green light is still on. I have tried every trouble shooting solution, yet no dice. I am hoping you can help me to resolve this problem as the device is only about 5 months old.

I don’t have any good news for you other than wait for a sale. The newer
ones are moisture resistant. My family has had good luck with them and we
like the additional features. I think the older ones eventually would get
moisture in them and short the screen out.

My Fitbit Charge 2 is doing the same thing!  The screen has gone totally black but the green lights are still on.  2 days ago the screen started having lines through it but now it’s completely black.  Fully charged, reset didn’t work, nothing.  It still vibrates but I can’t see anything.

I am having the same issues and I followed the instructions to fix the issue

I was not able to fix the issue

We were never able to get any answer from Fitbit except (more nicely put), go buy a new one. Last Christmas my wife and I bought the Versa 2 for each other (on;y one of the Christmas gifts to each other) so I am going to cancel out of this conversation because it has been obvious Fitbit isn't going to do anything about this issue for anyone.

Fitbit does well in honoring their warranty, but all fitness watches are
not repairable and the charge 2 was not sold as water resistant. That
being the case I wish mine would have lasted longer but it probably did
pretty good for all the sweat and wet sleeves it was subjected to. I hope
my Ionic which is water resistant does better.

Nothing you have suggested works. My screen is blank. The device syncs to the app and is fully charged.

That is probably the best you can hope for until it completely dies or you
get another on sale.

Found a solution on YouTube! As long as the FitBit is still syncing to the app, just go into settings on the app and select all clocks, choose a different clock face, wait for the new selection to upload - you will get a loading bar then a tick on the watch, and the screen comes back on. You can then change it back to your original one if you prefer.
I’ve only had it since March and it’s a Charge 3, not 2, so I’d have been returning it if it had malfunctioned so quickly.
