Charge 2 screen went black. The green lights on still. I tried charging, restarting but no luck. It vibrates and shows working on app. Any ideas???

I have the same problem. Blank screen. Lights green. Recording steps, heart rate etc (I can see it on the app). Restarted device multiple times to no avail. Fitbit customer support says that as my device is out of warranty they can do nothing. It is pitiable that a device lasts for just 21 months. This is the second time a Fitbit has just stopped working. Bad quality or planned obsolescence? Not buying another one!

Thanks. I will no longer use Fitbit. Poor poor customer service.
I will no longer use a Fitbit. I have had 2 units go bad in less than 24 months of me owning them.

I am having the same issue. It happened suddenly, screen went black. I've tried charging it, resetting it. Nothing. I miss my Fitbit!

I have the same issue and the screen died completely whereas the green light and data is showing fine on the app.

Well i paid a hefty amount for this n was a present for myother! I recently bought ionic and Can't afford to buy another unless I get 100% discount!

Same problem over here. Sometimes the screen won't activate at all, but everything else is working. Most of the times it suddenly works again after a day (or two), but this doesn't fix the problem. The company I bought it from says I can send it to them for inspection. But when the problem doesn't exist when they get it delivered, they can't do anything about it...

This Charge 2 is piece of S*it. I got mine in christmas 2016 and screen went black on septemper 2018. i Got new one because of warranty but now again 1,5 years after this s*it is broken in same way again!

I completely agree with you. It disgusts me every time Fitbit sends me an email with someone else complaining about the charge 2. I got the Versa and when that goes, I’m done.
