Charge 2 Blank Screen But green lights on

Charge 2 screen went black. The green lights on still. I tried charging, restarting but no luck. It vibrates and shows working on app. Any ideas???

I haven’t been able to get my to show the screen. I still charge it and it connects to my phone. I replaced it with a charge 3.

Thanks for the reply. My charge 3, that I replaced the charge 2 with, is about 6 months old. So far, no problems with the new one.

I tried all the troubleshooting suggestions but my screen is still blank! There doesn't appear to be any issues with the charging process and while it vibrated when I attempted the reboot the screen remained blank. Please help.

If it works with the app that is the best you can probably do. Some people
said changing watch face in the app worked for them. I brought a new
version on sale.

Hi

Can you tell me how this issue was resolved as I am experiencing the same problem.

I have tried restarting my charge 2 several times but with no success and i don't know what to do next? 

Any help will be appreciated

Nothing happened when I tried restarting mine either but about 12 hours
later my screen just reappeared. I don't hold out much hope that it will
last but it's back for now. Hopefully yours is just having the same delay.

I am still hoping to get the screen back. I will let the battery die
completely and then re-charge it and try a reboot again, because nothing
else has worked (reset, change clock face in settings etc)

Unfortunately I haven't managed to resolve this yet. Guessing am going to
have to purchase another newer model. Yet my wife reminded me it wasn't
last Christmas I received this as a gift it was Christmas 2018. Seems 3
years is a pattern when this particular model stops working.

Only reported fix was to change watch face in app which some claimed to
work. Otherwise use as is with app on phone and replace when you see a
good sale. I have had better luck with the newer water resistant versions.

If it is completely dead what do you have to lose? If it charges and works
with app a factory reset will not allow you to see code to reattach to the
app.

Best answer I’ve gotten is the watch is done and buy a new one. They say the tracking feature will still work with the app but I used a lot of the other functions

Yes, my daughter is excited about the new Sense it has EKG and skin temp
readings. Don’t know the price just a message from my daughter.

The same thing happened with my Charge 2 today. Lights and vibrations are on but nothing on screen. It just happened on its own. Hoping Fitbit can sort it out.

Don't hold your breath. After the first few comments, and the reset advice,
there has been nothing from Fitbit in this thread for ages. I am thinking
of replacing mine, but I want more than a 2 year life from it, so am not
sure if I still go with Fitbit, although I like the tracking app.

I have now just taken the plunge and purchased a new one. Charge 3. See how
long this model lasts. Thanks for all your suggestions and advice.

Totally agree with you. Wonder if Fitbit realizes how much business they are either losing or jeopardizing?  If support and response/acknowledgement were superior, I would definitely consider another purchase. Right now I am considering other options.
