Charge 2 Not Syncing

Hasn't synced since Jan 21st at 5:43am. I have reset this multiple times. It's not working. My husband is also having problems with his Charge 2 as well. It is not syncing anything it is tracking such as sleep, steps, heartbeat, activity, etc.... Really frustrating. Ugh.

I do have Windows 10 with the fitbit app installed.  When I was having trouble syncing I could not even find the fitbit app on my list od computer programs.  I searched all over the PC and came up empty.  After restarting the PC the app was there and working fine.  That is why I am convinced that it is not the fitbit device but the phone, PC, etc. that is being used to sync that loses the connection and has to be restarted to get the fitbit syncing again.

Powering off has worked for me every time so far, but even then very slow to synch. The need to power off and back on started about a month ago.  You shouldn't have to do this every time you want to synch.

Hey @nsjackson, I appreciate the update. Thanks for sharing those tips. I'm pretty sure that they might help other users who are experiencing syncing issues, to solve them. 🙂

@Andrea145, thanks for your reply. Is it your Charge 2 syncing only when you restart your computer?

@FallsguyAre you using a computer or your phone to sync? Are you restarting the Charge 2 itself to make it sync or the device you are using to sync? Let me know.

I'll be around guys!

When the Charge 2 starts having trouble syncing it is re-starting the computer that will solve the syncing issue.  I don't have a problem syncing all the time just when it ocassionally has happened it is re-starting the PC that gets it going again not re-starting the fitbit.

Thank you.  I found that the bluetooth feature died in my fitbit so I was able to return it and get a new one!  It was a true malfunction so it couldn't sinc and didn't keep track of my sleeping, etc.
Thanks again,Joanne

Thanks to all of you.  I was sincing with my phone to check sleep habits but my fitbit stopped sincing and found it was actually a true malfunction of the bluetooth capabilities of fitbit.  I returned my fitbit for full credit and bought a new one.  All is well now.
Thank you again everyone, you help was very much appreciated.

I am seeing alot of replies about your Fitbits not charging and that it is me too! Last sync was January 17 on my Fitbit. I also have tried everything I know. It is more than frustrating.  Has anyone found a solution?

I've tried all the above steps, I can get my Charge 2 to connect to my iPad but not to my OnePlus 6. Checked everything is up to date and I've reinstalled the app and both the charge 2 and my OnePlus are fully up to date.

Any ideas?

So today I notice my Charge 2 has again not synced for a few days.  This time I tried re-starting the computer first.  Worked with just that one step.

When my fitbit would not sinc, I finally gave it to the geek squad and they found out that the blue tooth that enables your fitbit to sinc with phone or computer, or table, etc. had stopped functioning and was useless to me.  I was able to return my fitbit and get refund and bought another one.  Now I'm up and running just fine.
Thank you everyone.  Maybe this is your problem?

My Charge 2 quit syncing for no reason mid-November. I tried everything. Gave up. Let the battery die. Left it on the counter for a month. One day I tried everything again, nothing happened.  BUT I got the bright idea to try using a new email address. Guess what? Now it works perfectly!  Weird, right?

@CaptPhil, I suggest you to try to "forget the device" from your iPad and then try to sync just with your OnePlus 6, and let me know if it works.

@HeydyF Thanks, I have tried that also, and made sure I am not near any other bluetooth devices (middle of a field!) and it still doesn't connect to the OnePlus

I have had a fitbit charge 2 for just over 2 years, this has been a continued problem, on several devices, I find the help from fitbit vague, even if you do it does not work, my next tracker will not be a fitbit
