Charge 2 ROSE GOLD straps with Rose gold hardware

I was just given the Charge 2 in the Rose Gold with the lavender band and I love it. 

I also love the Charge 2 because you can swap out the bands... BUT they dont have ANY bands that are compatible with the Rose Gold. 

There are the classic bands AND the leather bands... but all of them have the only SILVER buckle hardware. I would love a Rose Gold Hardware option. 

Specifially on the Blush Leather Band. This band would look terrific with the Rose Gold Fitbit face. But right now, the blush band only has silver buckle hardware. That would look very silly with the rose gold in my opinion.

If this were a watch I would not mix metals... so I am hoping FITBIT decides to include some additional band options for the Rose Gold fitbit face.

Anyone else with me on this... ???

Fitbit recommends cleaning the strap with Cetaphil. Haven't tried it yet.

I've been having the exact same issue with my rose gold/lavendar charge 2. I thought I was doing something wrong in cleaning it. These suggestions are great - hope to find something cute and easy to clean 🙂

Mine was discolored...so i ordered some others off amazon and soaked my lavender one in some bleach diluted with water. .big mistake.. . it is now worse.... The rubber degraded and is now not wearable.

So disappointed.

But will now order a cheaper lavender one off amazon (they have a lavender replacement on the fitbit site fpr $30.00, I'm all set with that) and swap the clasp out.

Yes soo frustrating! I broke one side of my lavender band with the rose gold attachment and am pretty bummed that they only offer SILVER 😞

@Jlillymay  A few other users have said that the pin on the clasp is spring loaded.  They have been able to move the clasp from one band to another.  Maybe you want to do that with the silver clasp on the new band they are offering.

I am very disappointed with Fitbit about this "limited time offer" -- I have a rose gold model.  I am experiencing the grungy, dirty discoloration that can't be cleaned off.  But it hasn't gotten any worse, so I am living with it for now.

My Lavender band was very discoloured after only a week, I can only imagine what was to come. I reached out to Fitbit chat and they offered me two bands so I took black and blue to better my odds at them not changing colour. I easily switched the rose gold hardware to the black band and I think it looks sharper than the lavender one ever did. Best solution!

@Janineabone  The only bands with rose gold hardware are from third party vendors on sites like Amazon and ebay.  Fitbit does not offer them directly.

Hi, I ordered a rose gold metal band worth €60 and within a week it was no longer rose gold, but a strange gold color. I have returned it. That's the problem with the third party vendors - there is no guarantee of quality.

Yes!! I've had mine since November. I had it on pre-order. I've been waiting patiently for new band options in the rose gold 😞

Does anyone know what size the hardware needs to be to fit on the fitbit bands?  18mm, 20mm, or 22mm?  Amazon is selling rose gold hardware just not sure what size I should pursue.

Having lost lots of weight I needed to purchase a small replacement band for Charge 2 Lavender band with rose gold, cannot believe that Fitbit only do the chrome, having two different coloured metal looks really silly.. Considering how much customers pay for the Charge 2 & the extra for a replacement band the least the company could do is offer different metal colour choices. Poor show guys
