Charge 2 Will Not Sync

Since an update to the app end of September 2020 my charge 2 will not sync. I have tried countless times to sync and it only updates step count on screen. However it won't save this as previous day's are all then 0.

 

I have tried all the following:

  • Made sure location service enabled
  • App up to date
  • Un installed app and reinstalled
  • Reset charge 2
  • Disconnected charge2 from Bluetooth
  • Tried to reconnect - it will find device however it will fail to sync after 4 digit code is input

Based on recent reviews on the Google play and on this support page this is a wider issue with the Fitbit app rather than individual users. 

 

Please can I have ticket opened to fix this problem.

I'm having the same problem too and tried all the troubleshooting tips. Finally got in touch with FitBit support who confirmed this is a known issue with the Google Pixel phone (works fine with iPhone/Samsung). To date there has been no resolution, but I saw in the news that FitBit partnered with Google. You would think they would fix that issue but no....
