Charge 2 battery draining very quickly

Had charge 2 since June 2018, first one was replaced as faulty about 12 months ago. The current one I have has just (in the last few days) had problems retaining it's charge. It charges fully then zooms down to a random percentage eg 11%, 84%, 50%,then within a few hours the battery has died. I have rebooted several times. Any ideas, please?

what version did your update too?  I have my fitbit charging and checked the app for an update and nothing is coming up.

Got your last message after I posted my reply.  I will check on the IOS app update and see what happens.

Charge 2 is Version 22.58.0, this did not change.  iOS app version 3.29 (988).  Updates come thru the App Store updates.  Good luck @jdun and all

No change for me still verio 22.58.00 a s battery still on lasts 15
minutes.

Tried these suggestions with my CHARGE 2 and changed all battery draining settings. Still fully charging but drained dead within 15 min - 2 hours. Always dead when I wake up in the morning after charging it fully before going to bed. It doesn't record ANY data since Aug 17, 2020. I misplaced my charger and just found it Labor Day.

@Paiggy, make sure you have latest app on phone/tablet. That fixed it for me. See my posts above for details.

Same for me, though an app update on Android increased my app version to 3.29, firmware remains at 22.22.58.00. My battery discharged within 2-3 hrs of a full charge. Didn't work for me.

My Fitbit also does not keep a charge. It goes to dead minutes after charging.  Very frustrating. I thought it was me but it looks like a number of people are having the same issue.

Not sure what happened, but my fitbit seems to be working now.  Kept using it over the last week, just recharging it every couple hours.  From yesterday to today, it seems to stay charged much longer, and after a full charge last night before bed it is at about 70% now.  Usually it was dead battery before I woke up.  Don't know how to check the app version so don't know if that was the case, but do know that a week ago when I checked the app store it said I had the current version.

I’ve been following these posts as my charge 2 went from lasting 5-6 days to draining consistently in 4 hrs. Last weekend it suddenly stayed charged for 4 days.  Did this twice but it now back to draining in 4 hours.  Will be interested to see if you get a permanent improvement or not.

mine seems to be working like normal now.  It goes a couple days without having to charge again.  Big difference from dieing after a couple hours.  Not sure what caused the change, but so far so good.

aaaaaaaand..... it is back to the draining within a couple hours.  Sheesh, I thought it worked itself out.  Guess not.
