I have a fairly new charge 2 that's been dead of battery for a week or so and I finally plugged it in but it's not showing the charging screen on the watch or being found on my phone. It's been plugged in for an hour and half, should have some juice by now : /

This is my 4th Fitbit with this same issue. Since I've had this one less than 2 weeks, I'm returning it and giving up!

Mine does not vibrate or anything when connected to the charger. Im very aware of keeping the contacts clean. I didn't notice my battery was low. I looked at it and it was dead. I connected it and get no reaction. 4 hours later, still nothing.... my second watch, same issue. The versa.

Mine went dead during the night, I saw it was getting low but forgot to charge. Now it will not charge at all. the would be my 2nd fitbit in a year. The one I have now is a Versa. It's getting expensive to keep one. I have plugged into the wall and computer with no success.

@StefanosF the battery should be good for a thousand charges.
Your day your tracker is 3 years old.
If it was an Apple Watch, Apple would expect it to be dead by now.
BTW my Charge 2, received. 2 months before Target has them for sale, is still going strong.
Please stop yelling I don't like to have to report posts.

Well I estimate the total times charged my Fitbit, in those 106 weeks having the device, in about 150 times. I made this calculation by multiplying the 106 weeks by 7 (days per week) and then dividing by 5 (the average days needed to recharging the device after every full charge). So this is about 85% below what you claim... So far, being able to affect lots of peoples decision, almost no one in my Gym (more than 10.000 members) is buying a Fitbit device and I will do my best to keep it that way. By the way my wife’s Fitbit Charge 2 also died.... also just about when it was out of his warranty.

I had the same issue. This is how I fixed it. I pressed the button on left side and the bottom button on the right side at the same time and held in until fitbit logo appeared on screen of the watch. Then i put watch on the charger and plugged it in my apple charger block. Hope this helps you it worked for me. I think when the battery completely dischargers the watch turns itself off. GOODLUCK!

Mine died about 14 months after purchasing. It's completely dead, won't charge, no life at all. Nothing has worked. Very frustrating to have a $100 paperweight on my desk.

My Fitbit was charged, but suddenly went dead. Have tried various remedies to no avail.

My fitbit charge 3 was replaced after pixel failure. The replacement was working fine. Now it won't show anything on the display, won't charge and doesn't even vibrate once the cable is connected. I'm using a wall charger which works on another fitbit charge 3.
I have cleaned the charging points on the fitbit and the charger but nothing affects it. Do you have any more solutions please?

I used my brand new watch which I got as a gift for a month, then I didn't use it for couple of weeks after which it is completely dead! Tried to clean the contacts and charge it for hours and hours (about 8 hours) but nothing changed!
Really poor quality! And since it is a gift, I have no choice but just throwing in trash unless you have any better suggestion?!

I’ve just had the same problem, I was reading through these replies trying everything & then I realised my charger and pin points on my fit bit were really clogged with dirt. Cleaned it out and straight away it started charging!
