I am now on my 2nd charge 2 fitbit in the past few years. The first one lasted 18 months, so they offered me a 50% discount on a new one. I got another one, and now the face has a vertical crack, (no trauma caused by me) which they consider to be a defect. There are many people out there with this same problem, so I don't understand why they can't do something about it. My current fitbit is 14 months old, and is 2 months out of warranty. So apparently, they only have a life span of 12-18 months. I really like this version of the fitbit, but I can honestly say that I will probably will move on to another company if they can't make it last longer than that.
If the warranty/fitbit people are out there listening, I want a new replacement fitbit, since it is only 2 months past the warranty. Not 50% off a new one, which will break approximately a few months past the warranty.

@Becky1961, welcome! It's great to see you around!
Let me help you with your damaged Charge 2 display. Support does follow the guidelines listed in the warranty so if your device is outside the warranty period they won't be able to replace it. This is why they offer a discount to help customers in this situation. Still thank you for sharing your feedback.
Let me know how it goes.
