My Charge 2 has been great since I first bought it and I set up notifications and had them working no problem for the first couple of weeks. Then, they randomly stopped working and the error message told me I needed to restart my phone which didn't work. I followed everything in this troubleshoot: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1610 and it started working again - for about a week. It's now stopped again and I cannot get it working again no matter how many times I follow the instructions. It's really long winded and annoying when I just want to see my texts
Oddly, it shows call notifications when I get them but nothing else and they are really delayed to the point that it only starts reacting when I've answered the call! Help would be much appreciated!

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @shadowstar240! Thanks for already attempting the troubleshooting steps in the article. Nice way to go!
I know you've tried some of these steps, but let's try step-by-step:
- Make sure that your Fitbit App is up-to-date
- Log out of your Fitbit App
- Force quit the App
- Restart your Charge 2 once again
- Turn off the Bluetooth
- Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes
- Turn on the Bluetooth
- Log back into your Fitbit App
- Make sure that "Enable Notification Widget" is turned on. This can be found with other notification settings in the Fitbit Android App.
- Turn on "Always Connected" in the Fitbit Android App. What this does is improve the Bluetooth connection between your Charge 2 and your mobile device.
- Verify that you have notifications turned "On" on-device by holding the button on your Charge 2 for two to three seconds when your Charge 2 is displaying its clock face.
In addition, I recommend double check the following:
- Open your "Messages" app on your Android device.
- Go to "Settings."
- Click on "Notifications."
- Make sure there is a checkmark next to "Preview Message" (As shown below).

My Fitbit Charge 2 is no longer showing my my text messages. About a month ago everything worked fine. I have followed about three different sets of directions to fix this issue and nothing has worked yet! It shows the name of the person texting me, but it will not show the actual message anymore. Also, there is a major delay in the call notifications. I have either missed the call or already answered it by the time my watch starts buzzing. I'm getting so fed up with this that I'm about to spend the money and buy a Galaxy Watch!

thank you for saying this. Same thing happened to me. My girlfriend and I have same fitbit charge 2, same S10, and our texts stopped. We see names, but no messages. Tonight all of the sudden her texts started showing, but mine did not. I have updated and try the fixes, but nothing. I am also thinking about getting the galaxy watch.

There has been a known bug recently where some people are not getting the text message, only the sender. Fitbit are aware and are investigating. If this is affecting you then keep an eye on the following thread where they are posting updates:

My fitbit Charge 2 is not showing any notifications either since last firmware update. I have tried all of the solutions presented on the various threads in this forum but it is till not working. Very frustrating.

I'm getting frustrated about my charge 2 not getting test messages from my android phone after I downloaded the new app can I please help now my phone calls not showing also when will this problem be fixed

For the last month or so, I've noticed the same things that have been happening to other Charge2 users...I can get phone notifications on my Charge2 but not calendar or text messages. I've followed MarreFitbit's suggested fix but I still can't receive any text messages. I've tried this twice through now, step-by-step, but it won't work. I hope this gets fixed soon. I really rely on this feature!
