Charge 2 losing steps

ok my charge 2 is a second hand one, it tracks steps and then when it syncs with my phone the steps disappear or go back to 38 ll the time. Ive removed app off phone and turned off bluetooth and reset tracker on pc with cable...im getting very cross now as the person i bought it off says it was working fine.please help thanks claire

Let me help you with your Charge 2 losing steps and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. What happens if you check previous days? Does it still show a lower step count or is it corrected? Try logging out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. If the issue persist remove the tracker from the account (tap the top left button then the tracker's icon and finally the trash can icon) and set it up again.

Hi I have tried everything you mentioned fir the past 24 hours : previous day steps also disappeared ! I have returned the charge 2 to the person I bought it from 
Will buy a new one in future

Thanks for help etc, I have bought a Fitbit inspire HR and just charging it up and setting it up ;fingers crossed x x
