My app has stopped recognising any activity. Last weekend everything was working fine then 2 days later my tracker is showing calories burnt after a class but on syncing to the app…no exercise registers. I have done all the recommended stuff…opening/closing/deleting apps and tracker and still nothing.
Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas/advice please?

In addition to no longer tracking my manually entered exercises, Google Fitbit now has dumped all my body weight data prior to December 29, 2023.
When I bought my first Fitbit back in 2015 I was so impressed with it that I entered all my saved body weights going back in time. All body weights I hd on medical records, military fitness test weight ins, and my personal daily weigh ins were entered into Fitbit because the data looked secure, reliable and easy to view. I could see the data entries and the chart that depicted my ups and downs.
Now when I select "All Time" on the weight page, it only goes back to 29 Dec 23. Nice Google. Thanks for treating us like you just couldn't care less. Oh, and I'm a Premium member so dont tell me about how expensive it is and how I dont need that data. I could have kept it under a different app but I chose this one. Shame on you all in CA or WA or wherever you hang your hats.

Is this only sync with charge 2 or other devices are affected by the issue?

I'm not sure if the other Charge models have the same issues. I have considered other models as it's affordable, however the others don't have a physical button. A physical button is important for me and I don't like guessing if the 'button' got pressed or accidentally touched.
We're almost half a year into the Charge 2 problems not being resolved. I'm not sure how I'd feel if I bought another model and the same issues started.

If the other models were having this issue, they would be listed on this community discussion.
Care to define the physical button and what model you just bought so that you can also mention a separate issue in the community discussion?

Charge 4 is having the same issues. They also have a thread running about it.

Bizzare, charge 3 no issues, 4 has issues, 5 works? is this random or seems to be based on somekind of model specific?

Aren't there later versions after those Fitbit charge models that were mentioned?

Sorry, I didn’t realize what your question pertained to, I don’t know what other devices are affected.

As in any models that come after Fitbit Charge 5.

charge 4 works. I have borrowed my friends and it syncs workouts on the fitbit App. my charge 2 does not.
So definitely a fitBit app comms with device issue.

All my charge 3 devices have gone into the dark mode and useless. The charge but the display is black. I'm running with a Charge 5 now but hope the Charge 2 will be fixed.

I just got an update to the Fitbit app on the Google Play Store today. I can't say if there were improvements. That will be for some of you to comment to the moderators later.

I suspect that if it was fixed, the Google/Fitbit team or moderators would have told us. They haven't mentioned anything, so it's still broken.

There must be something wrong on their end or else they would've gotten it fixed by now.
Do you or any of your fellow moderators have anything to comment on this @JuanFitbit?
