My Charge 2 is no longer receiving notifications for text messages or calls. I tried the trouble shooting recommendations that are listed but it still doesn't work. When I try to pair it, it says the bluetooth pairing failed. I haven't done anything different, it just stopped working. The notifications are turned on. I don't know if it could be related to the new update. Anyone else having this issue?

Moderator: You shouldn't mark this thread as "Answered" since it's obvious this is still very much an issue. I've lost all trust in Fitbit's customer service abilities since this has been something customers have complained about for months. I will not buy another Fitbit after this lack of resolution.

I am not holding my breath.
I have two perfectly fine Charge 2's on eBay right now and I can't give them away.

Yes, disgusting.
I would rate Fitbit/Google as the worst consumer experience I have ever had.
It is like Fitbit is controlling information - just wiped out Charge 2 owners with there uncaring approach and attitude.

Firstly I don’t know why this is marked as “answered”... your “answer” is:
I don’t have an update at this time.
I’m not quite sure who in your marketing department thinks it’s okay to respond to customer enquiries like that after people have been waiting MONTHS for you to sort these problems out.
I work in marketing and customer service and what you have done here is absolutely had every single one of our pants down and now your laughing and “respect your decisions” to shop elsewhere AFTER we have bought a product from you that is not fit for purpose.
What really should be happening here is a product recall, as the product does not work, and has not worked for a very long time.
Absolute fraudsters, and you should be ashamed that you are letting yourselves get such a bad reputation.
To be honest with you, I’m surprised that you’ve not been called out by the Advertising Standards Agency for FALSE ADVERTISING of the capabilities of this product...

Yes, tell us how this is considered resolved? Also why are there comments at the top of the page that states (and I quote) "We’re aware that some customers may experience a compatibility issue with notifications after updating their iPhone to iOS 13. Find help here". What about Android 10 issues? No comments about that!!!

Like everyone else on here. How is this considered answered. I guess if you put down anything in a reply, you could consider it an "answer" regardless if the issue is corrected or not. I just spent multiple hours going running through all the troubleshooting steps, power resets, and re-configuring both the charge 2 and iphone to no avail. This issue has been going on for months now and all we here is dev is working on a solution. What gives?

I agree. Not clear why it has been 3 months already!

I have never had a sleezier experience than with smoke-and-mirrors Fitbit.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, I can't even give my fitbits away on ebay after they abandoned their base.
Park's his name - west coast bandit, CEO and founder, if anyone cares.
What could Fortune's criteria have possibly been? :
James Park is a Korean-American technology entrepreneur. He co-founded Fitbit and has been CEO and president of Fitbit since September 2007. He was named in 2015 among Fortune magazine's 40 Under 40, an annual ranking of the most influential young people in business.

Big Bag of NOPE I even removed my fitbit from the iphone and from the app and reconfigure. Still affected.
