Charge 2 not consistently syncing

Since the update earlier this week, my charge 2 won’t sync with other apps and it is struggling to sync even with Fitbit app, although normally gets there after a couple of goes. Only been a problem since the update.

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not syncing and the issue with other third party apps. For the Charge 2 you can try the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

Regarding the other apps, your tracker won't sync with them directly. The link is between your Fitbit app and the other apps. Try revoking the access on your settings area and do the same from the other apps side. The relink them as you initially did.
