Charge 2 not functioning properly

My charge 2 has not been measuring my steps correctly white horizontal lines have now appeared and the green light to read my heart rate blinks when I'm not wearing it I hope it hasn't kicked the bucket as it was a Christmas gift

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not working as it should. I suggest you restart your tracker to address the screen issue.

For the green lights which are part of the heart rate sensor you may need to select the Auto setting , you can do this by tapping the top left icon, tap the Charge 2 and then look for the heart rate settings.

Finally regarding the step detection. Your device will detect the movement on your arm and translate that movement into steps. There are situations in which your arm may be still but you could be moving or walking. This may happen when you are pushing a cart or holding bars while walking or using a treadmill. For added sensitivity you can try wearing your device on your dominant hand but select that hand as non dominant on the device’s settings to make it more sensitive to movement. Also make sure your hands are moving so the device can properly track your steps.
