Anyone else having trouble with the Charge 2 depleting its charge almost immediately. The green light is full on power when I remove it from charger.

My Charge 2 was holding it's charge for a week until I did the update three days ago. Now it won't even hold a charge for one day or through the night. Ugh!!!

Mine won't hold a charge for longer than 5 minutes. This started Tuesday afternoon. I hadn't updated the software yet, I was able to yesterday, but it drains immediately after I take it off the charger

Same here! The light on the back is extremely bright and it seems to be hot as well. 5-10 minutes and done.

I am having the same issue - charged my Fitbit this morning - received notice Fitbit was low this afternoon.....it use to hold charge for numerous days. I did the update earlier this week. Could update be the issue? Any one hear anything from support at Fitbit?

I did my update over the weekend and my battery charge indicator has been jacked up since I did it. I've already had a couple of times where my Charge 2 abruptly died just after it had showed I was at 40-50%. I also found when I was charging my Charge 2 right after it had died it claimed that I was fully charged 10 minutes later, which I knew there was no way that could be true since it usually took at least a half hour to fully charge when the battery was low. I definitely think the update is what caused this to happen because my Charge 2 was working great before the update, it was holding a charge for 3-4 days until I got the update.

I contacted support. We troubleshot and nothing worked. Since my tracker is no longer under warranty, they offered me 25% off of a new one. This is several in a row for me that have not held up to standard (my husband has been through similar issues with another FitBit model), so I am researching Garmin trackers. Maybe look into those as well...

Since i updated mine with the new firmware it is going from 100% charge to completely drained, unable to even give me a low battery icon, within 5 minutes. I have never had an issue with my fitbit before this update

Same for me. Before update, charge would last 7 days. After update, I'm lucky to get 3 days. Makes you wonder...

My Fitbit Charge 2 is currently holding charge better. I did Dave’s suggestions in article which didn’t help at all. Apple had a IOS update which did make a difference. It seemed like Charge 2 was looking for my iPhone or iPad continually and update fixed the problem of draining Charge 2. I hope this my help others having issue.

My Charge 2 would hold a charge for 5 days, then after I did the Firmware update, now the FitBit is good for almost 24 hours. Come on FitBit! Did you do this on purpose?! Change it back!

I am also loosing power. At first, I had to recharge every 4 days (instead of once a week), but now I'm recharging every other day. If the problem is in the update, why isn't Fitbit fixing it?

Do you have any updates for your phone or computer? Maybe install them and restart your Fitbit. Good luck

None of these helped - pretty generic!! I remember support going the distance back in 2012 when Fitbit was a young company to help customers and not worrying about warranty etc. The firmware did something. - fix it!!! The firmware must not have been compatible with some phones & computers.
