Charge 2 steps have disappeared

I did a 6k run this morning and had over 7,000 steps on my Fitbit and on the app, just looked again, few hours later and it’s down to 2,000, they disappeared in front of my eyes, has that happened to anyone else? Have rebooted my phone but it’s still the same. Also, the app updated to the new “view” today, never had a problem before.

Let me help you with your missing steps. Have you check what information shows on the website dashboard at Fitbit.com? Also have you manually logged any activities or do you have any third party app linked to your account? In both cases activities may be logged and this could affect your step count. Still you can try logging out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. Additionally restart your device and if the steps are missing your can manually log a walk or run activity so you have a record on your account.
