Charge 2 not mapping route

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have recently started having a problem with Connected GPS when walking.

My Charge 2 connects to my phone (Samsung S7) and records distance, pace and elevation.

However, on the map in the app it does not display a route, just a single point.

If I save the map as a tcx file and open in a text editor the figures for latitude and longitude are the same for every entry. Example can be supplied.

The GPS on my phone is working correctly - checked by another GPS app and if I start Runkeeper it records the activity and maps the route correctly.

Can anyone shed any light on this or offer a solution.

Thanks,

B

@bp-61 Welcome! It's nice to have you on board!

I will assist you with your GPS data and Charge 2. Start by logging out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. After this follow these instructions to improve the GPS recording with your Fitbit app.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi,

Have done everything you have requested but there has been no
improvement with the GPS problem.

Todays lunchtime walk for example, when pressing to start the activity
the phone connected right away and appeared to be connected for the
whole walk, a circular route of about 1.2 miles. When syncing after the
walk my phone showed no GPS data whatsoever. This is a new problem that
only started after the last but one updates of the app.

On the plus side, your instructions to log out, restart phone and log
back in have improved the sync performance.

Regards,

Brian
