Charge 2 not syncing and notifications not working correctly

I've had my fitbit for 2/3yrs & I LOVED it. Since a few months ago its starting to irritate me. 

 

FIRST was the fact that I would get a call & by the time my fitbit went off I had already missed the call. Not a huge deal but annoying

 

SECOND is now it won't give me even partial messages when I have notification on for sender & message... I only get sender. Again not a huge deal but I really liked that option without paying for a new smartwatch.

 

THIRD and the absolutely MOST irritating is the fact I'm having to go thru the set up process every other day/EVERY day to even get it to sync!!

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not syncing correctly and its notifications not working as they should. The messages issue is being investigated by the team so hopefully they will have a fix soon. Regarding the other two issues, lets try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

I have an LG Stylo 4 with an iOS of 8.1 I think. I also do the whole restart thing every time... If I'm lucky I only have to do it once a week but sometimes it's like 3 out of 5 days or so...

I am having the same issues with my Charge 2.  It is so frustrating when an "update" leaves me with less features than I  had prior to the update.
