Charge 2 not syncing

Long story short, stopped syncing 4 days, ago, wont update even on reload. with help from their tech, used the app on the computer, then found out that the main fitbit server crashed and aint no one syncing today...anyone else?

Let me help you with your syncing issues. You can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

as stated it is not the device, this has been done about 23 times this week. When I went online and chatted with support, it also became news to them that the server was down for some of the charge 2, I am imagining I am one of those lucky "some charge 2" also, my laptop only has charge 2 as one item on its blue tooth and still cannot communicate with it, so its not just my phone, its also my lap top. I wish I caught the screen grab of the notice that came up on my computer app..it stated "We are sorry, [ something to the effect] charge 2 server is down ." Nope this happened earlier this year, and to top it off, my phone is not on the  list of acceptable phones yet has been talking to my watch for a year now. So nope...sorry..not my issue..its the fitbit server problem.
