Charge 2 not tracking GPS route correctly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

For about a week to 10 days now my fitbit hasn't been accurately tracking my route when walking or cycling. The GPS connection keeps cutting out. Any ideas what is going on? This started around the time when the app started shutting down when clicking on the exercise tab.

@Kerry214 I hope you're doing well! Sorry for the delay in my reply

Let me help you with your GPS data not being properly recorded. Lets start by troubleshooting the app as you mentioned that is has been getting stuck. Log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. Also make sure it is up to date.

Regarding the GPS try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.
