Charge 2 not tracking walks properly

Went on a walk with my husband today his Fitbit tracked the walk as 6.3km when I checked my app it said 2.1 km and didn’t show the map, when I go for a walk I set it up but the Fitbit and done this many times before but today it didn’t track properly has this happens to any one else and do you know why?

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not recording your walks properly. Are you using GPS to record these walks? If this is the case then you can try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

 

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
