My fitbit charge 2 is also dead. Tried all.the usual things both plugged in and unplugged. Any help would be appreciated

I have no idea what "usual things" were but give Restart a try and do it several times if necessary.

@ColletteMck Welcome! It's nice to have you on board! Sorry to hear that your tracker isn't working. Adding to @SunsetRunner suggestion you can try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves.
