@GFL1970, it is on the display screen of your Charge 2 tracker. The on-screen instructions should advise you when to press the button on the Charge 2 to see the 4-digit number which you then enter into the app.

Hey @dottieo, welcome aboard! Let me confirm something to help you out better. Are you trying to set up a Charge 2, a Charge 3 or both? What phone are yo using to pair them? Is it a compatible device? In the meantime, I'd like you to take a look at the troubleshooting in this help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
Keep me posted!
Best AnswerHere is one for you - My Charge 2 works,.. but the display does not.
Is there any way to pair it without the stupid 4-digit code?? I had 2 Charge 2s and BOTH the battery held a charge for less and less time over the course of maybe 4 day and finally just get hot when put on the charge. This one, I admit is my fault... I simply can't afford to keep buying these things because the battery died, so I put a new battery in this one. It charges and seems fine, but no display, I bought the other to use, expecting to not be able to replace the battery.... I think I overheated it trying to remove the display when replacing the battery... now the second (spare) I bought died in the same way as the first (returning it).
Any thoughts on pairing without a display?
