Charge 2 replacement won’t charge or set up

I just received my 2nd replacement Fitbit charge 2, the first one

worked but only for a few months than stopped syncing and sending notifications to me. Than I was sent a replacement again and it will restart and vibrate like it’s charging but no battery shows up just the set up link that takes you to the app. It won’t sync or set up my replacement like it should! I keep having these problems and it’s rather annoying having to keep going through this process again and again...

I am having exactly the same issue. 2nd replacement just arrived, the screen comes on with the Fitbit setup link but neither my iPad nor my galaxy S9 can find it on Bluetooth.

can anyone help?

Hey guys, @RhygK@Averagedad and @Twtyntwty, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community!  I appreciate the time you have taken to try different tips to set up your Charge 2. There is something that I'd like you to make sure, could you please "forget the device" from the Bluetooth settings of your phone/tablet? That will the connection of your new Charge 2, easier. Then repeat the set up process.

Let me know how it goes!

That doesn't resolve the problem of the replacement not charging.     It sits in the charge cradle and will vibrate to let you know it is there -  but the screen only shows the setup screen -    I've had it sitting in the charger overnight -   no green lights on the back -   and still the setup screen!     It won't display the 4 digit code either -  and it won't reboot

I can’t get the lights to work on my replacement either!

That still does not cover the problem with the replacement pebble not charging.    I had the replacement pebble charging overnight on the charger -   no green lights on the back -  and still on setup screen.   when you sit it in the charger it vibrates to let you know its on there right,  but it won't hold a charge (no green lights  on the back).     the screen will not display the 4 digit code to pair the device to the app.

I’ve got exactly the same problem.  I’ve deleted my old device (it had a cracked screen so got a replacement) but this new one won’t sync.  I tried the old one and it recognises that one no problem.  This is really annoying.

Am on with Fitbit at the moment and they want me to return it and get yet
another replacement. Can’t really see the point. Going round in circles.

Im having the same issue, received a replacement charge 2 and it does not sync to anything. None of my phones or my iPad can find it. It just comes up with the setup screen. I’ve tried everything. Nothing changes.  It seems to be an judging from the posts on here it seems to be an issue recently with the replacement charge 2

Mine has gone back and I’ve asked them to confirm that the next replacement
will charge and sync before they send it out.

They keep telling me to be patient and they will fix the issue

Thank you for the update. I hope this works. They just keep telling me to be patient, but they can’t give me s date that it will work.

I’m quite lost without mine and need it for my qualification.  I wish I could send the thing back rather than be “patient” because no one even knows what’s going on or if it will even work 🤷‍:male_sign:

I know exactly what you mean it’s a pain not having it, and it seems to be replacement ones as people who got new ones for xmas have them synced

>From what I’ve been told it’s a battery issue, I asked if it was due to
technical problems but they said not so back it’s gone (again).

My last one was a battery issue. They then sent me this replacement which
now has a known syncing issue 🙈
I hope your new one is in working order.
Ps have a great new year 🥳
