Hello my Charge 2 has been showing multiple lines of dead pixels across the screen. There is at least 7 rows of pixels which do not light up. Is there anyway to fix this? The fitbit is barely a year old 😞
Thanks

I'm having the same issue. Luckily my Charge 2 is a few days away from being 12 months old. Have contacted support so hopefully can get resolved.
Devices like this really should last more than 12 months so it is disappointing to see the responses from FitBit in this thread to customers who have devices just out of warranty date where the screen has failed.

I am having same problem , ( 5 dead lines) and on top of that my hr monitor doesn’t work either.
Green light isn’t flashing.
I did reset many many times but it doesn’t help. Please let me know what else I can do. My Fitbit charge 2 is 15 months old. This is very disappointing.

The Charge 2 is a faulty design.
So many have failed and Fitbit do not do anything other than offer a small discount if you're out of warranty. Poor design has lead to these device failures.
Sweat creeps inside the device and causes the screen failures.
This is a device designed for exercise!
Fitbit sent me the standard 25% off email when my second device died just outside warranty.
The first Charge 2 died inside warranty.
I replied explaining how they had a faulty device from new and as such they have responsibilities to their consumers, but they just ignored my email.
Buy Garmin, they offer a 70% discount on any Garmin product if your's fails outside warranty, for life.
That's customer service and belief in your products.

Please assist me. My fitbit3 has lines of dead pixels. I have restarted it more than 5 times. No change. Very disappointed it's only 5 months old.

I have just joined the community to canvas views on how reliable the charge HR and Charge 2 devices are. I have had 4 units in 5 years all have failed for different reasons. The latest device (Charge 2) has at least 7 lines of dead pixels and the number increases every couple of days. I have tried resetting the device, this does not work. I have contacted Fitbit support and await their response. However for the first time, this device has failed 14 days outside the warranty period. I await a response from customer services but suspect that I will not be happy with their reply. Perhaps its time to go for a cheap Chinese knock off.
Any thoughts !!!!!!!!

Hi John
I suggest waiting for FITBIT's response.
My watch, first time fitbit purchase is only 6 months old. I contacted Fitbit after contacting this community. After trying a few suggestions which did not work, fitbit assisted further, they have been very friendly and helpful.
Good luck

Received my fitbit 2018 Father's Day. Same issue. With lost pixils, screen now unreadable and the fitbit, although I have enjoyed it and have come to rely on it, is basically unusable. It's now 13 months old and outside your 12-month warranty. So I need to know if the Charge 3 has any better longivity before I pay another $150 for a watch that dies in a year.
Or, since, with use, it is common for a Charge x to die after a year or before, why not have a service? I pay you $10/mo for a Chargex device. WHEN it dies, I send it back and you send me the latest Chargex, version 3, 4, whatever.
I do like the device and, with a heart issue, it comforting to monitor my level of exertion while working out real time as well as my resting heart rate.
Would appreciate any comments on how long other users have been using their fitbits. Thanks.
Bob

I'm having the same problem and was told the same thing. Out of warranty and give 25%. Think this will be my last fitbit.
