My charge 2 ran out of charge a day ago and when I connected the charger a picture of a mobile phone appeared and www.fitbit.com/setup keeps scrolling along the bottom.

Sorry to hear that your Charge 2 is displaying the setup link and for the delay in my response. Also thank you for troubleshooting this issue. @WendyB gave a great suggestion and I would only add that you will need to remove the tracker from the account (tap the tracker's icon then the trashcan icon to remove it) and after this set it up following the instructions in @WendyB 's post.

This doesn't work. I have the same problem. The app is all setup, I confirmed the email, and I restarted. I'm thinking of sending it back because I've already spent several hours of my life I'm not going to get back fiddling with it instead of exercising.
